Table for 6 tonight and we were all more than pleased. Lovely atmosphere with friendly, helpful staff. Good delicious and beautifully presented. We'll definitely be back 👍

Cobbies is a lovely little bar/restaurant. The restaurant is a cosy and intimate area to dine in. Cobbies is dog friendly, another bonus to this little hidden gem. The staff, are friendly with great table service. The food is first class and the presentation was great. Loved it and will be going back for seconds...

Small restaurant but so quirky with all the little touches between scrabble name settings and decor which is extremely traditional and eclectic.. most of all food is amazing and staff friendly. Not one negative, for a small town the food choices are second to none

Lovely place to go for a meal, food was good and staff were really friendly, it is also dog friendly which was a bonus as my family had come up on holiday and had dogs with them. Highly recommend.

It has been a while since me and the boyf have been out for a sitty dooner and I think we've chosen the best place to kick off our comeback!!The restaurant has about 8 tables in it all ranging from 2 seats up to 6. The restaurant is nice and clean and the waiter was adhering to covid rules (doesn't really bother me if he did or didn't wear his mask) and there was social distancing measures in place.I had looked at the menu (never took a picture of the menu, sorry) beforehand and knew exactly what I wanted.I had smoked cod stuffed with prawns on a bed of Mash with chorizo sausage. OH.MY.GOD!! Perfect for every fish lover.The boyf ordered Nacho Chilli burger. And we got a side of chips and onion rings. I cannot fault the food. My dish was perfect and the boyfs burger was really meaty.The chips and onion rings were crispy too. I would definitely come here again. A nice wee local pub serving amazing food. Why has it taken me so long to find this treasure?For both meals, both sides and 2 cans of coke it was £28.30. Bargain!!!!

First time trying. Food was delicious. Staff were friendly, atmosphere was nice and relaxed. We will definitely be back.

Lovely, lovely waitress. Very thoughtful decor. Each table had a different cruet set, little painting on an easel (tiny!) and a wee table game plus other delightful quirky touches. Excellent prices, colourfully and intriguingly presented. The picture of my husband's lamb was after he'd started eating, it was much neater at first!
