We booked here for dinner one evening on our vacation and I have never met friendlier, and more helpful staff. The food was amazing. I would definitely go back!

Absolutely Incredible! The whole team went above and beyond in welcoming us, especially Jackie. We had the best time, the food was so so good! And even better, they did a special doggy dinner for our dog, which he loved!! Would absolutely recommend and we look forward to returning. Thank you!

Staff are very attentive, rooms are newly refurbished and very comfortable. Menu looks pub standard, it’s not. Venison was amazing, so tender. The pie of the day! Amazing! Great place to spend a few day or more.

Absolutely lovely place. We were spoiled rotten and the food was marvellous. The scallops were perfect and the onion tart was a revelation. The staff could not have been more helpful, we will definitely be back for more. I reckon Sunday lunch will be a must. I'd love to stay over night in one of their gorgeous rooms and we only live 5 minutes down the road, that's how smashing they are

We've just enjoyed the most lovely evening meal at the Crusoe Hotel. Everybody was delighted with their food and the staff were most attentive and really welcoming our two small dogs. Would heartily recommend 👍👌

Wow !Had a really lovely meal. I have had Scallops in lots of restaurants and in many different countries but these scallops were easily the biggest and tastiest i have ever had. Amazing. The hotel must have a reputation for their fresh scallops as i heard 3 other people ordering them during the first hour i spent there. All our dishes plus other people's dishes that I saw, were all very well presentedThe service was very attentive by friendly and helpful staff. This hotel is going through a full refurbishment which they hope will be finished around the end of January 2022.My only negative comment would be that they have done away with their car park, which during the dry weather is not a problem but on a cold or wet night the nearest parking is up the hill and then down steep, unlit, dark steps, back down the hill. They do have 2 possible disabled parking spots at the front of the hotel but only 2.

Lovely spot on the sea front for drinks, lunch and dinner! Decor inside is nice and all the staff were super friendly and very attentive. As a vegan, they had 2 options on the menu - a gnochi dish or vegan burger. The gnochi was tasty and they accommodated my disliking for mushrooms for something else which was very nice! My partner expressed he did not enjoy the burger sadly as it seemed to only consist of small black beans (or quinoa?) and bread crumbs which made it so dry and crunchy. We thought it was maybe missing an ingredient or something as it was very unusual and too crunchy/dry. Everything else was lovely and had a great meal!

The food and drink menu was impressive. Food was delicious, and the service was amazing. The waiting staff noticed without us asking that we were uncomfortable with people on the table next to us (who were moving and standing close us talking very loudly and without masks) and suggested to change our table which we found very attentive specially on a busy Saturday night. Really enjoyed our experience there.

Wow! Could not have been more impressed. I see a member of our family group has already left a review highlighting how well 6 adults, a toddler and a baby were welcomed in for dinner at five pm.And the food - so much choice on the new Autumn menu, and everything sounded delicious. The chef discussed the menu with us to ensure we were all happy with our choices, and by the time the plates were cleared it was very obvious how happy we had been! The duck was fantastic, my husband thought the crumble was one of the best desserts he has ever had, and the presentation of all the dishes was lovely. The service from Jackie and all her team was exemplary, and felt very friendly and personal. We loved everything about this place- highly recommended! If we didn't live so far away, we'd be in all the time!

We had an excellent dinner here last night. With 6 adults, a toddler and a baby, we were really impressed with how the staff accommodated us. In particular, our server Jackie was fantastic with our 2 year old. We got to try their new menu and everything was delicious. The staff also encouraged us to share any suggestions we had about the food. Would definitely recommend!
