Very pleasant visit for breakfast with a friend. Big shout out to Scott and Gabrielle in the coffee bar/restaurant. These two always have a big smile and a warm welcome when I see them, there are a few who could take a leaf out of their book. The store was looking fabulous with all the new stock being displayed very tempting!

Dobbies is my favourite shop,I love it.The only thing I dont like are the prices, sometimes it can be a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.The staff are always friendly and helpful.I like to look at the AMAZING array of fancy, colourful plants and flowers, most of which I have never heard off.Go and have a look for yourself. Also while stopping to look at the plants have a wander into the bright and spacious restaurant, again its not cheap but it's a nice place to stop and have a chat with Friends.

Easy access with disabled parking spaces. Inside the store there are wide aisles. Staff are friendly and helpful with smiley faces. Large variety of items in all sections. Well worth a visit and I would certainly recommend this store.

Started to visit the cafe again after covid restrictions were relaxed and it was really good, we enjoyed a lovely lunch for many weeks, would gladly gave 5 stars. However, the last 2 visits did put me off going back and so rated the place only 2 stars. The quality of food went down, menu changed, served cold chips and rest of food wasn't very warm neither. Staff are friendly especially the longer serving staff. It is a shame as we enjoyed going to Dobbies cafe to just relax and have a nice lunch...

The shop is beautiful and great for a look around. Quite expensive but you pay for a better quality of plant etc. The cafe though, always seems to have a huge waiting list, even though it doesn't look that busy, and service is slow. I don't know if they just don't have enough staff. We went in for a quick lunch but gave up and went elsewhere. I've had a Dobbies card (where you get free tea and coffee each month), but I don't think I've used it in over 2 years as (since the cafe moved to table service instead of selfserve), it just takes too long to pop in if you want a lunch and not just a coffee and a cake. Pity.

I’ve visited the Cafe/restaurant on 3 separate occasions and each time the service has been very poor with a decline in food quality. At the end of each visit, we spend 15-20 mins looking for staff to PAY for our meal. Also think it is a bit absurd for a ‘dog friendly’ place to require their customers to walk all the way round the premises to come through a different entrance to the cafe. Would be more sensible to create a route for people with dogs through the cafe to the designated dog friendly area. Management needs to have a serious think of the cafe layout to be more inclusive and less awkward.Overall, disappointed by the food, service and management. It has actually put me off a Dobbie’s membership because I wouldn’t want a free monthly hot drink from this specific cafe. Shame… considering the actual garden centre is decent.

Fantastic range of beautiful plants, and some highly unusual ones, every shade of pot you can imagine, a lots more to see in this huge Dobbies. Lovely light, spacious and easy to get around. Good range of treats in cafe, and a takeaway strawberry 🍓 tart for my dad.

Visited on Friday. Wide variety of healthy plants for sale and aisles well spaced. Spent nearly £80 on food items. Disappointed by woman on check out who hurtled everything through so fast and wouldn't put things directly into our empty shopping bags. Charged more than shelf price for 5 items.

Wheelchair friendly! I use a powerchair, but apart from a few door thresholds that are not quite flush anymore so will cause you a bump if you're going too fast (or just a dead stop and almost project's you out the chair if you're zooming like i was 🤦🏻‍♀️😂) Take them slow and they're fine!Enjoyable place to visit, the cafe area is lovely. I had the vegan chickpea curry and would highly recommend! (if any of the chefs see this and fancy emailing me the recipe I'd be highly grateful 😂)Has a small unattended play park for the little ones aged between 5 and 12 is their recommendation (however currently closed due to c19)Plenty of choice for plants, and the staff is always friendly and happy to help and give suggestions if needed.Dobbies is always a little pricey, but if you're a plus member it helps a bit!
