Food was very good indeed, healthy portions so dont mind the cost for it all. Drinks were a bit costly. Staff first class, courtious and helpful. Would definitly recommend to others and will go back again hopefully soon

Good menu but unfortunately it doesn't show that smaller portions are available and our server didn't tell us so as a result my 85 year old aunt and myself ordered full portions and between us left enough food on our plates for a 3rd person. A suggestion to mark with an asterisk what meals are available in smaller portions, then a note at the bottom of the menu indicating this would cut down food waste and cut costs for the hotel

It’s my first time with my son and wife’s family in Scotland , we went for a Christmas meal witch cost so much money we were paying £60 each. The soup was good and delicious, but I ordered turkey it was so bad and it was just 150 grams. It was with that for potatoes and little bit of vegetables with two sausages with bacon I wasn’t eating, The meal was so bad. After we had Some cheesecake, chocolate cake and ice cream and some fruit salad and tea or coffee. When we were going home they said for us to pay for drinks which we were thinking that is all including with the meal …!The staff were friendly and the place was fine. Just the meal was so badI will never come back to this place.

Fitted 4 rooms with new carpets yesterday. The smell from the kitchen before lunch was amazing. I had steak pie chips and veg, it was great. I will definitely be back again to sample more from the menu.

Was at a Xmas party, a buffet was supplied but the choices very poor for Gluten free options. Sandwiches, pizza and chips. Paid 29.99 for the evening. Luckily the silent disco bit was great.

Great wedding venue. Well managed. Lovely staff. However, as a wedding guest I felt there should have been an area in the lounge seperated off from customers just in for a drink or meal. They must have been as uncomfortable with wedding guests wandering between them during their meal without masks, as we were keep walking by them.

Can't really give a full review as we were here for a Funeral Wake. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the area we were in was spacious, clean and bright. There was plenty of parking and the hotel is situated in a lovely urban, tree filled area.

Great wedding venew. Lovely food friendly staff, well managed throughout. Criticism, one table under air-con vent, very cold when came on. Hotel very clean, nice staff, but beds not comfortable. Could do with better quality Would recommend.

Went for breakfast on yesterday morning around 9am. Staff were not prepared for anyone. Table not set up, no cups on our table, had to ask for these items. When food was ordered it arrived out pretty quick but tasted awful. Scrambled Eggs overcooked, sausage burnt, bacon missing.Tea and coffee was served luke warm.
