Greyfriars Hotel in Fife

Great place to stay in St Andrews, clean rooms, tasty breakfast and meals. Friendly staff and nothing too much trouble for them, they were always happy to help. Special mention to Jinty, Jimmy, Fiona, Nona and Matteo.

Lovely meal (we had a sharing platter of small burgers, chicken wings, fish goujons, salad and chips which was more than enough and a great choice). Very reasonably priced. Family friendly. Comfortable. Golf themed decor (well it is St Andrews). Friendly helpful staff.

Stayed for a couple of nights in January.Room was excellent very spacious, breakfast was great with plenty of choiceWe ate in the restaurant and the food was good there also.The staff were very friendly and approachable.Great value for money, we're looking forward to returning

Had a really lovely lunch here today. The food was delicious and the service second to none. The place was very relaxing and had a good atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend it and would say it is one of the best places in St Andrews.

This place was recomended to us by another bar in St Andrews. We were pleasantly surprised. Its a lit bigger on the inside. Food and service were both great. We had philly steak sandwich and it was as described on the menu.

My husband, son and I had a really lovely meal here on 3rd January, and the servers went above and beyond to make our visit special. Would highly recommend Greyfriars Inn.

Lovely pub, made to feel welcome on entrance, quick service, friendly staff. Had steak Pie and chips was lovely, steak melt in your mouth. Place was immaculate, toilets were spotless, place. Was warm on a cold rainy day unlike other pubs in area which were freezing.

The best nachos I've ever had, size of a pizza slice!! I had the steak and ale pie which was very tasty, and my husband had the macaroni. It was so nice & we will definitely be back! The staff were really lovely too, it was very busy when we went in and we felt we were attended to alot, so thanks guys!

Wonderful experience at this location having just played the old course St Andrews. We stayed as a four ball in the room with 4 single beds. It was fab. A fine big room ideal for Golfers.We ate in the bar/restaurant downstairs and really enjoyed it. Tha staff was very helpful, food and beers great. We will definitely be back.

Great little pub! Our bartender was so friendly and funny. We came for drinks but ended up staying for dinner. Great atmosphere and some great beer on tap. Some great whiskey too. A great place to eat just around the corner from the old course.
