Lovely shop with great quality cheeses and friendly customer service. Would especially recommend their cheesy bread!

Following on from my review yesterday, re the St Andrew's store...I contacted I. Mellis via their website to arrange a gift voucher for my cousin. Such a joy! Heather made this an easy, pain free experience when everything seems to be needlessly complicated nowadays.I've seen some fairly negative reviews re I.Mellis and, of course, no-one's perfect. But I can say that my experiences, both in the St Andrew's shop and my enquiry via the website, have been more than pleasurable.Updated my review to 5*Thursday 26 May: Visited today with my cousin, who bought various cheeses for lunch. Delicious and just right for eating today. Thank you.

This is the best cheese shop I have ever entered. I live 11,350 miles away yet one of the very first things I do whenever I return to Scotland is visit this shop. I cannot wait for June to roll around again.

Products are great, cheeses,bread etc but rather pricy ie £5 for a small pork pie

Top quality cheese. Entertainment for your taste buds. Staff are amazing. Get to know the world of cheese, crackers, artisan bread, olives, pickles and handmade butter. It's ace.

If you need cheese in your life then this is the place you need to visit! Great selection, they even have my favourite Comte cheese from France. Try the bread as well, we had a sourdough loaf and a cheese, avo and leek white bread - both very good.
