Joe's Food Bar in Fife

This was 1st time trying Joe's as well as ordering it online and although it was nice I wasn't blown away.I tried the special fish it was okay.I will however try it again but have something else.

Ordered food at 5:15pm and advised delivery by 6pm, phoned shop at 6:30pm to be told it's on it's way, arrived cold at 7pm and still charged full price, I defo won't be back.

Got lov the spicy haggis and quick service

Recently moved to Cowdenbeath and have had a few takeaways but joes is by far the best supper yet nice food and staff

Great traditional chippy menu but also good kebabs, flame grilled burgers. The Large Fish and Chips with curry sauce is a good choice. Normally I stop off mid evening during the week. Then its quiet with quick service and food has always been freshly made.

Ordered on just eat, given an estimated delivery in an hour. I waited 20 minutes after the estimated time to call and was told it was ready to leave and wouldn't be long. 35 minutes later it turned up with missing items and the food was cold. Called the shop to be told if I wanted a refund they would need to collect the food, my kids were already eating it as they had waited for 2hours!! The manager was more interested in making excuses than apologising, didn't receive my tins of juice. Will not be ordering from them again

I pass 4 chip shops to get to this place, it's excellent, clean, friendly amd the food is lovely. The staff and helpful and always full of smiles, 5 star chippy!

Just returned home with a Hoggie wrap. It was lucky if it had 5 chips inside and hardly any donner meat. £5.20 I paid. Absolute rip off. Never been to Joes for years and can say safely again I'll never be back. I have never written a review in my life but felt I had to so others wont waste there money here.

To be fair the pizza was ok (not great but ok) issue was after it was over an hour late I called the shop to chase I was offered the chance to speak to the manager the lady went to pass the phone over for me to hear the manager say he was too busy and then hung up !!! Great customer service - I can understand places being really busy these days but to hang up on a customer tells me my custom isn't wanted and I should go somewhere else in future

After visiting a friend in Cowdenbeath and needing something to eat before going back to Edinburgh we found after 22.30 most places were shut so were not hopeful that our usual Joe's would be open. We were surprised to find that not only were they still open but instead of just offering us what was left over, they offered the same choice and cooked everything fresh to order. Hot, delicious and as normal a good price.
