KinKell Byre in Fife

We held our wedding at Kinkell Byre in February 2022 after a few covid related delays. The team were amazing from beginning to end with no request being too much. Special thanks to the wonderful Sophie who made our day go so smoothly. We can’t thank you enough - highly recommend for any couples looking for a unique venue that you can make your own!

Brilliant looking area which is then gives you a surprise inside which is outstanding. Staff very attentive and helpful great layout and would suit a large wedding party.

Beautiful rustic venue for a multicultural wedding where the sounds of bagpipes were in harmony with the dhol.

Thuggish security - avoid!I attended a 1,100 capacity music event at this venue on 18th November 2021. The venues preferred security contractor had free run of the place, intimidating attendees with numerous accounts of violent threats, trying car doors and searching attendees vehicles without permission, and then pushing around attendees and threatening violence when questioned.The security company were especially abusive towards younger, female event attendees, pushing and shouting at young women and reducing several convert-goers to tears.Securities role is to protect the health and safety of attendees, not to act in a threatening, thuggish manner. When questioned the venue manager stood by the security.A real shame as the place is beautiful, a real let down for everyone involved.AVOID THIS VENUE WHO SUPPORT VIOLENT THUGGISH SECURITY- simple!

Fab venue. Excellent space and we attended a wedding here and the space was fantastic for a wonderful day. Views are gorgeous as well.

Went for a wedding and was quite impressed.Easy to get there, stunning views, inside was clean and nicely decorated. Different sections made for a cozy atmosphere.Veridct: I Do... like it.

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️Where do we start with Kinkell Byre... what an amazing wedding venue.My husband & I decided to get married at Kinkell Byre after the first viewing which took our breath away. Kinkell provides such a romantic & special setting, a really relaxed venue which you can put your own stamp on.We were due to be married during the pandemic in May 2020 but this was postponed to May 2021 when we felt we would be able to get a ‘more normal’ wedding.The team at Kinkell were great before & during these crazy times of the COVID pandemic.Sandy, Sam & Sophie were always on hand, very accommodating & attentive. They gave us the option of provisional dates due to the unknown of what we would be allowed at the wedding & continued to keep us updated through the ever changing guidance. Our wedding day was fantastic & we can’t thank the team at Kinkell enough. They helped us from viewing, all the way through to our big day. Kinkell will always hold a special place in our hearts.We can’t recommend you enough!Amy & Gary

Always a pleasure photographing weddings at Kinkell Byre! Every time the place looks different as well, as there's tons of space and option to style the place depending on your florist, table setup and everything else. Great venue with good views and plenty of space. The interior fit out is, I believe, done by each renter so the attached photos may not represent what you might do with the space. Very easy to get to from Saint Andrews.

Beautiful venue with a great view. The staff are lovely and the food was nice, however, some of it was overly pretentious to the point that it was detrimental to taste. If you are considering getting married here then I can't recommend it enough. As an overall experience it's definitely up there.
