Luigi's Restaurant in Fife

I really wanted to like this place. The front-of-house were enthusiastic and friendly. It's clean and brightly lit. Unfortunately the food wasn't good. Dried out chicken Milanese with a tiny portion of pasta, bland Caesar salad (with chewy chicken) and soggy pizza. We thought we'd try this as a change from our usual place on Bruce Street but it's not a patch on it. We won't be back.

Food is amazing. Love all the options and of course the ice cream! Normally a great experience. Only marked down as the waitress had a real problem. Our food was thrown onto the table at us and we felt unwanted. Not sure why we got this treatment as we ordered plenty and even checked before ordering desert if we were ok for time. It was a shame as we had taken friends who we had told how great the place was and their experience wasnt great.

The food was average and some of the staff were ok. There was one member that seem to be a manager, that disturb us twice while we were eating on a very rude maner, to tell us that once guest are coming to the nearest table. She was demanding and impolite, because you should not speak to guests while they are eating in that manner. The restaurant was half empty and the other table was occupied only at the end of our meal so there was no need for her fuss. The toilet was not having soap and toilet paper. One of the chairs at the table was full of crumbs. Absolutely disappointing. They are expediting customers and the schedule on the website is not even correct. It has been weeks since they are closing at 9.30pm instead of 10pm.

I never leave reviews but I have to because the food is sooo good! I'm I massive pasta lover and have searched everywhere for good pasta. I've been coming to lucas for ages now the carbonara is amazing 😍👌 I usually get the garlic bread with it but last night I had the salad & I don't know what they done to it but it was the best salad I've ever had. The service is good too staff is really friendly Best restaurant in fife!!

Have eaten at Luca's several times now and each time have asked the wife why we don't come more often. I guess the answer is that it's a bit out of the way but it is absolutely worth the visit. This is the best Italian in Dunfermline by far and the seafood is especially delicious and cooked to perfection.

First visit and was very impressed! Great Italian food and very nice staff. We'll definitely be back again!

I had the sea bass and it was amazing! Service was great & fast even though it was busy!

First time at this restaurant and won’t be our last! Friendly and helpful staff with a sense of humour. Great variety of Italian food with a few Scottish twists thrown in. Excellent service and not waiting and wondering where the food was. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Great food and service, burger just a little burnt but will definitely go again.
