Blew us away out to sea amazing 🤩 Happened to come across this hidden gem on a coastal walk, the food was delicious and the extra touches/compliments of the chef made the experience special. Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!

Lovely lunch at Room with a View.Every flavour has been carefully thought out and even the simple things like bread and butter are done executed. The most spectacular setting and great staff.Highly recommended!

Room with a view restaurant was outstanding. Food was top class fine dining standard and the service was so welcoming and efficiently served. The ambiance with the small sized dining room made it a special occasion. The complimentary transport was particularly welcomed as the location is a bit off the beaten track. We will definitely be back.

We were recommended "A Room with a View" in Aberdour by our lovely hosts at Cardinal's Folly. Lots of lovely seafood to choose from and I struggled to make a choice. We were required to make our food choices the day before. Eventually I decided on scallops to start, followed by seared tuna and a blackberry parfait to finish. My vegetarian husband started with goat's cheese and beetroot, followed by mushroom linguine and the cheese platter to follow. My brother selected the steak ciabata with chips and the caramel mille-feuille with apple sorbet. If choosing the seared tuna I would suggest stating just how cooked you would like your tuna to avoid it being over-seared. I prefer mine just a minute or two either side and nice and pink in the middle. This turned out to be a learning experience for both of us.We were given the option to eat indoors or outside in one of the pods and opted for outside where we enjoyed stunning views of Edinburgh Castle and Arthur's Seat.Staff were friendly and helpful and even checked what the cheeses were on the cheeseboard when asked to identify them. All in all a lovely experience and we would be happy to return next time we are in this part of the world.

Lovely restaurant and food with tasters between courses. View of the sea from every window. Access is however down a narrow step gravel drive. I believe the owners will collect you from top of the hill if necessary.

Fabulous food ad always and friendly helpful staff. I took 2 friends from France for dinner and had a magical evening in one of the the riverside pods in the garden.

Myself & my friend went for an evening meal here, the seafood was amazing! All the food was so delicious, the presentation was excellent & the views were spectacular! The service was excellent! We got picked up at the station by this lovely woman who brought us both to hotel. I couldn't believe how spectacular the views were...it was so peaceful & their were some people climbing the cliffs, which was nice to see. There were pods outside, which you could keep open or close, such a peaceful setting. Overall we'll definitely be coming here again & highly recommend this place to anyone as we also got a lift back to the station, which was much appreciated. Thanks for the excellent service guys 😊

It always pains me to put on 5 stars for great venues. What if more people find this and I can't go next time? Food was excellent and the views are fantastic. Thank you to the staff for making it a lovely afternoon

This was our first meal out in over a year and we chose wisely. The setting is stunning first off. Inside the pods it is protected from the elements or can be opened up to suit. My daughter wanted to take her friend so we booked in advance. The food was amazing, best fish I have ever tasted cooked to perfection and not a bone found in all three. The batter was a meal on its own, crispy on the outside just how you'd like it. The chips I wasn't sure about at first as I like the big fat ones. These came skinny but were well seasoned and full of flavour. O the starter yes, aubergine and goats cheese terrine, mouth watering. Balsamic vinegar through it took away the possible bitterness of the aubergine, the pine nuts (I think) added a slight crunch to the dish. Loved it. The girls raved about the bread rolls that were warm, fresh and homemade for sure. Service was excellent, they seem to have a lot of staff or very fast walkers as we were not waiting long for drinks etc. Highly recommended, thank you room with a view, we loved it. A+++++
