went in for a spot of lunch at 12.20, was very quiet only about 6 customers and 3 staff, were left standing at entrance to be seated for about 5 mins, once seated still had to wait a bit for order to be taken despite how quiet it was my husband ordered a black pudding roll to be told sorry breakfast orders stop at 12.30, what a piece of nonsense if we were shown to a table and served quicker we would have got our roll, what would it have taken to cook a slice of black pudding. Left and went somewhere more accommodating. Have been here a few times, needless to say we won't be back

Had an amazing lunch out today with my partner, food was amazing as always, I absolutely loved the vegan chickpea coronation panini! Which was on the specials board today and the vegan lemon cake was so delicious! 10/10! The leek and potato soup was so delicious as always. Also staff are always super friendly! :)

Had the most fantastic minestrone soup today with rustic bread, coffee made to perfection(I'm very fussy) and truffle was awesome. Service and price could not be better, fabulous

Brilliant breakfast great friendly staff. Reasonable priced. Happy to make changes to the set breakfast no problem. Win win :-)

Called in for a takeaway after getting off the train and a 30 min wait for a bus. Had a bacon and egg roll and latte which was very good and warmed me up to carry on my journey. Highly recommended.

Free parking and very friendly and kind staff. All the food was great and served on fine china. Quick service and a non cluttered menu, great stuff keep up the good work.

Fantastic wee place. Had the best chunky leek & potato soup, so good, did not have to season. Highly recommend the Jaffa Cake cake as well, so moist, fresh and flavourful, also a decent wedge 👍staff really friendly and efficient, good selection of food on offer, prices really decent. Will go back sometime definitely.

Really friendly staff very good coffee and large scones at good prices, they do afternoon tea will have to come back for that! Saw cooked food looked really nice and good portions. Recommend!

Lovely roomy tea shop with a great selection of pastries and cakes. The teapots are generously big and the great servers dont forget to warm the pot. You can also search for great antiques once the caffeine kicks in.

My Husband and I Had Afternoon Tea here at The Majestic Tea Room The Service From Our Server Holly was Amazing nothing was To much Trouble and The Sandwiches Were so Fresh beautiful Scones Home Made Jam and Yummy Home Made Cakes we would Definitely recommend this Wee Hidden GEM xx Will Definitely Return xx
