Good food, nice wine and local beer. The view is superb and all this Served by nice people, what more can you want for a night out.

Lovely meal in the bar. Soup of the day - tomato, chicken liver pate with a special request of toast rather than oatcakes and haggis scotch egg.

Another good meal at this very affordable restaurant .The interior has been redesigned and is very stylish Good quality menu and plenty for the vegetarian in our party . Service was a bit slow between courses but the wait was worth it

Really disappointing. Food was just ok. The sea bass my wife had was without flavour as were the accompanying vegetables, and very greasy. The starter of haggis was a slice of haggis, about a tablespoon of turnip puree, and thin,hard bits of potato crisps. My lamb was good enough but I thought for £24.50 not good value at all. We had heard good things about the food but considering the price for 2 of us came to £58 I would not rush back,

3rd time we've been here and never been let down. Another fantastic meal and again the staff were brilliant. If your in the Anstruther area definitely worth a visit.

I’m dubious about reviewing this place, in case too many people find out. It is the most wonderful value for money restaurant I’ve had the pleasure of visiting in a long time.The place, the service the food and the price are outstanding. The chef is obviously a well experienced modern thinking connoisseur of the food trade.Well done all round. And thank you …!!!

Lovely restaurant with sea views looking out to Isle of May. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our meals. Great value also for a 2 or 3 course lunch.

Our local fish man in Glasgow, Craig, recommended we book. Did not disappoint. One of the best meals in a long time. New chef Ollie in place as of 18th Sept 20. Definitely worth booking ahead to ensure you get table. We loved it.

The food is so tasty and at a price you can't beat. Even with a £5 supplement for the steak it is still cheap.

Good food & great service. Food is excellent, staff service is good, ambience is great. Highly recommend, worth the trip.
