Romano's in Fife

Romanos is always the same no matter when or what year you visit it the food even the chips are always the same and the service is always as fast as they can make it, staff are always pleasant, well worth a visit when in the area.

You have to wear a mask to enter but guy at till on Sunday did not have one and no screen between him and customer

Great Scottish fish & chip supper, enormous haddock fillets with king size chips with lashings of salt & vinegar, the greatest f&c shop ever😁!!!!!!!

Always have our fish and chips here when visiting Burntisland. Gets very busy in summer

Great chippy but hate the packaging used as it sticks to the batter and the chips, nightmare to get off ....buy and leave open and eat!!

Donnar meats dry and has small portions for the price of 6.50 which is dear in its self compared to all other places in Burntisland and kirkcaldy that sell them, I recommend somewhere elsewhere if your getting a donnar kebab

Was there last week on Saturday. We went to this chip shop food was ok. We asked for salt and vinegar on chips could not taste it .the guys attitude was not nice shouting come on guys food ready .then moaning as were to wait outside .we didnt know who food it was then saying its like a zombie apocalypse out there .they tell u to wait outside for food then shout from inside chippy food or bang on window .he was really rude and unprofessional to act like that with customers I sard to them when getting food he needs to take a chill pill no need to be like that she just laughed .

Looks recently renovated, with a clean and modern look on the inside.Friendly staff that are hard at work to prepare your order quickly.Large menu available to order from, with some really nice and tasty food that's all fresh. Only caveat is that the pizzas can be a little too oily, I can imagine this will only get worse if you add something like pepperoni. But this is because the cheese used is fresh and not dried.Battered items taste great and when asked, will be smothered in salt and sauce which is great to see!I would recommend this chippy for a bite to eat.

Ordered fish, can't fault it..ordered large kebab, very disappointing, pitta was very cold like it just been took out chill then placed under a handful of kebab meat, very stingy portion for a large kebab. Also ordered king rib, was like mush, didn't taste like king rib at all, very poor.

Ordered calzone and chips 4 nights ago, only managed to eat half of it and within an hour I spent most of the night in the bathroom. I complained using there online form on there website the next day and now 4 days later I still haven’t heard back from them. I will never use this take away again, not just for making me ill but also for the ignorance of not responding to my complaint!
