Shimla Palace Indian Restaurant in Fife

Food quality has improved from my last visit. £8.95 for buffet, very reasonable but lost its appeal when charged £3.50 for apple juice.

Table didnt have a drink menu asked what there was tennants and coke ok then. Eventually got drinks menu but had already ordered pint I didn't want. Apart from that great food friendly packed out capacity aswell can't fault it there. Reasonable price. Would go back but definitely have menus sorted out. Thanks

Went here for my mum's birthday and then again for my gran. I must address that this review may be bias as I grew up next to the owners but please don't be tempted to shrug off any of the things that make it one of the best buffet services I've ever used.Never have I seen customers treated with such kindness. The staff take care to remember their regulars and are always happy to see a new face. Their food tastes delicious and is always plentiful. I'm yet to try something that I've said "I'm not having that again" and my family and I have always walked away with a smile.THE SHIMLA PALACE IS EXCELLENT.

Very good flavours and plenty of choices. Enjoyed the experience. Will return. Well had the Takeaway now only 5 mins late that's good, the meal was very tasty still hot went down a treat. Would recommend

Very nice meal had by all here this evening, not as large a selection as the last time we were there ( might be a larger selection at the weekend) but still plenty of dishes to choose from. The servers were polite, prompt and well presented.

Booked in which was a task all by itself as the guys English was good. Got there ordered 2 soft fizzy drinks. They arrived one was completely flat. Then realised they were wanting to charge £24.50 each for the buffet. Safe to say I got up and left. Wanted to charge me for my flat irn bru. Had to tell him I wasn't paying for it.

Absolutely beautiful food well presented and very hot. Lots of choices starters ,mains and deserts although I wasn't keen on the deserts myself. Lovely staff very friendly except the man who we paid at the end tried to chat to him and he didn't reply .Would go back again especially as buffet is £7.99 from 2/3pm on a Sunday .

Great local Indian restaurant that does really fantastic tandoori food and it perfect for families. Very clean and they do Nepalese food not just your standard Indian fare. I will definitely be back as staff were really friendly as well.
