Society Cafe Bar in Fife

As its all outside now, it's really nice to see the place dome up. However we were stuck right up in a corner and it was freezing. Cocktails were amazing with some confusion of what drinks we ordered. Over all alright, just sad that the salt and pepper chicken bucket was taken off the menu 😋

The staff are slow and the service is so slow we had to go as our cab came came. And we feel 25 minutes is to long to wait for our order of drinks. Please get a grip. The food was good.

Food was below average and over priced for what you got. Staff not very pleasant. Overall experience won't be back..

Loved the look of the menu but left before ordering food as the noise from the blender was awful. My partner and I couldn’t even hear each other speak, it was far to noisy and not the atmosphere you want when eating. The waiter also couldn’t hear what we were saying when we asked for drinks and nodded when we said it was far to noisy. I think changes In where this is done should be made so that the atmosphere is better.

One star for polite snd efficient staff. Otherwise not good. Dining area was cold as "front door needed to be kept open to allow airflow". No other shop, pub or restaurant I have been in this year finds this necessary. Ridiculous! Staff had to supply portable heaters at our table as we were so cold. Food was overpriced and inadequate as a main meal. Cost £7.50 for a small chicken and salad wrap. House wine was also expensive at £20 a bottle. This was our first visit to Society and it will be our last.

Most drinks are reasonably priced, the music was top notch but the overall atmosphere was ruined with the majority of folk standing in the middle of the dance floor on they're phones and not actually dancing

Nearly two months later and I am still waiting on an email back regarding the 'party night'. I have called numerous times to be told I will be emailed that day/night and shock I'm still waiting. I understand it was not Society's fault that a party of 80 cancelled however for the order to be mucked up for a table of 8 is just terrible. Some of the girls had even finished the main meal when the others were still waiting. We were told by a girl at the bar that we would get some money back but still not heard anything...

A pint of beer or a scooner of Lager ahhh!!! Over £5.00 a glass,and my one and only pint was dreadful when you have to start putting lemonade in it you know you have been poured a rubbish pint. We stayed 20 minutes and as we were leaving the young bar man was cleaning down the tables at 9.30pm on a Friday night in an empty pub,surprisingly I wonder why anyway headed for the penny farthing good atmosphere, and no lemonade in my beer, had a wonderful night.

This is without a doubt the best venue in town. Whether you're looking for a bite to eat, a quiet drink or a great night out. This is the venue for you. Well catered for all age groups. Plenty of live music, comedy nights and a wide variety of DJ's on club nights. The staff are most welcoming and ever so helpful. Also, the VIP area makes a great venue for private functions & parties.Worth popping in for a look!Strongly recommended to everyone.

Good selection of drinks, reasonable prices, nice decor inside, comfortable seating. Went to watch the local ice hockey team an away match as society were showing the game on the big screen. Hope it is something they continue to do.
