Was in the glen tav for our dinner, it Was busy with a party in the lounge and a group in the bar. We were served quickly with no fuss, the staff made sure everyone entering was wearing a mask which was reassuring. It won't be long before we are back 👍

Came for some lunch the other day. Absolutely disappointed. For starters I had the Chicken Liver Pate, my partner had Garlic Mushrooms. Both acceptable at best. The garlic mushrooms were extremely salty and the pate came with an entire 3 oatcakes. For mains I had a burger with a piece of haggis, my partner had steak pie. Again the steak pie was horrifically salty to the point neither of us could even eat it. My burger was absolutely tasteless. We got a side of dirty fries with bacon sourcream and onions. It came without bacon and sourcream. We asked and got the bacon and sourcream thankfully. But even then the chips were undercooked. On top of this the price of drinks was horrific. Ordered a "pint of diet coke no ice" I was given a glass of diet coke with ice. It was not a pint. I appreciate not all pubs serve soft drinks by the pint, but tell me beforehand. This glass was maybe 400ml max. It cost £2.80. Frankly unacceptable.Save your time and money, don't bother coming here. The food is atrocious. When we asked for the bill and the waitress asked how everything was, we were honest. She didn't even apologise for the food being too salty when the steak pie was literally that salty it was inedibleService was also trash, when we had the bill we put cash on top of it and left it clearly in the middle of the table. It took nearly ten minutes, and me gesturing to get it taken. On top of everything else, this place claims to be dog friendly. We were not greeted with a bowl of water or anything, like every other dog friendly pub I've been too, and when our dog jumped on the seats a member of staff instantly told us to get the dog down or put our coat down on the seat for the dog. This is totally reasonable but the member of staff was extremely rude. Our coat was already down on the other side for the dog to sit. She literally just jumped on the other side. We didn't even have a chance to move her.

Off the cuff visit as had the dog with me. Staff were really friendly and kind. A big bowl of water was brought out for him without asking. Happy to oblige with some cold meat for him too Starters were really nice. Both of us ordered the burger with cheese haggis and bacon as a main. Unfortunately this wasn't as good and took a long time to arrive. The cheese was rock solid and the burger a little over done. Really good portion size. The loss of a star is simply for the burgers and its such a shame.

Well, what can we say. Amazing staff, amazing food and dog friendly vibe. A definite stop for hot, tasty food with a welcoming atmosphere and great prices! It's not just the park we will come here for. Well done guys, keep up the great work.
