Buttermilk chicken burger was okay. Very well cooked. Apple crumble was okay but needed more custard.

First time I've been disappointed by the food here. The burger looked like it had been thrown together by a young child. Just didn't do it fir me. However normally everything is fine and food usually tasty, fresh and hot. So possibly just the fact it was a Tuesday evening. Will go back at some point to see.

Nice looking pub. Food is average. Don't wait until the last minute if you need the loo. There are a few steps to go down before you get there!

The bar of this old building is tastefully decorated with powder blue panels contrasting with brown woodwork. Interestingly, part of the swimming baths gifted by Carnegie, but closed in 1926, may be seen here in the lower part of the building.

Food decent standard (brunch) & drinks are good value. Can get busy at times but staff always pleasant & table ordering via app is easy & delivered in good time

Waited for the manager to chat to some people at the bar whilst I stood waiting to check in. Pizza was like something bought frozen from Iceland. Room was lovely and saved the experience from being 1 star

Great place. Excellent value for money. Very clean room. Right on high street and near theatre great location. Cheap food and drink. Will definitely be back.
