I usually go here when I visit St.Andrews. Very excited to visit again this restaurant but this time was different.Because of the graduation season, they only have three courses set meal within few choices other than regular menu. Strongly recommend to do two courses as well as three course to choose starter or dessert with main. Especially dessert itself was nothing very special so I would not go for it.Though I visited quite a few time this restaurant. I may not know all the menu so I asked for the wifi to look at the photos of the dishes. But the answer I heard is ‘yes we do have wifi but we could not share.’ The inside of restaurant doesn’t have a good signal. Or if the restaurant doesn’t want to share with the customers then, just change the wifi name? And says we don’t have wifi.

Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant, warm and friendly staff. Great selection of starters and mains. The cocktails are very unique and exciting.

Absolutely fantastic meal, in a beautiful restaurant, and the service from the equally beautiful and fantastic Morven was truly exceptional. Thanks to all the staff for a lovely evening, and the best whiskey sour this side of Manhattan.

Very pleased with our experience, the food tasted great and staff were very accomodating. Kieron took care of us well and made excellent Caipirinhas/cocktails.

We had a really lovely meal at The Rav in St Andrews. The staff were incredibly friendly and the cocktails were amazing! I particularly liked the “Once Upon a Time” - can highly recommend. I will definitely be back on my next visit to St Andrews

Absolutely phenomenal food and service! Best food we’ve had in St Andrews period.

First time visit, welcomed by friendly staff, seated at window overlooking North Street with the beautiful church. We ordered hand dived scallops, and 2 flat iron steaks with fries, with an additional house salad. Bottle of Chenin Blanc, our steaks were spot on cooked as requested, and delicious, great atmosphere and a luvly quirky restaurant, will be back next time visiting St Andrews :) :)

We visited two times and had 2020 October new season menu. Foods are always good, but every time beverage is changed although I ordered same menu. Plz fix one recipe

It was last minute booking for our anniversary dinner. I choose this restaurant after a few friends recommendations.Having worked on St Andrews for quite a few years I somehow never visited the venue, although I did hear about the revamp. So we decided to try it out.We decided not to have any expectations, as it can always go both ways. Having been sited upstairs we soon realised that place is quite busy on Wednesday night, no wonder in St Andrews in the summertime, but you don't feel like you sit on top of other tables. Very cosy. Our waitress Charlie was beyond professional and it was nice to see a person enjoying her job and making it a great evening for the customers. Believe me, I know how difficult it can be int he summer. However, the star of the evening was, of course, the food. We did have a few recommendations prior to coming and decided to follow them.Venison carpaccio and scallops to start and lamb and duck for the main course. Portions not huge, but perfect to feel full without overeating. Topped up with a bottle of lovely Pinot Noir. And of course, we could not miss out cranachan and coffee. Dessert served in the glass is bigger that you see, the perfect combination of taste and flavour as well as freshness and crunch. The best part: not too sweet. Topped up with good, not bitter coffee. Having been working in few places and having barista training, I sometimes come off as coffee snob and I enjoyed a coffee here so much ordered the second one.And of course, a very nice touch from the team to get 2 glasses of fizz after out desserts to congratulate us with our anniversary. A small gesture that takes an evening to top marks. Will definitely be back soon.P.S Will not going to post any photos as they already do a good job of taking great photos of their food. And mine is just not going to be as good .
