Food was fantastic, excellent value for money and the wee waiter we had was great too.!

I’m dubious about reviewing this place, in case too many people find out. It is the most wonderful value for money restaurant I’ve had the pleasure of visiting in a long time.The place, the service the food and the price are outstanding. The chef is obviously a well experienced modern thinking connoisseur of the food trade.Well done all round. And thank you …!!!

Had a lovely Xmas lunch yesterday. Great selection on the menu also good price. Would definately recommend. Thank you Ollie & staff. Keep up the good work.

Lovely restaurant with sea views looking out to Isle of May. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our meals. Great value also for a 2 or 3 course lunch.

Great presentation of food, staff was attentive and friendly, great food required to any allergies that people have, chef was great, fantastic mussels to start then the main course was delicious with seasonal produce locally sourced followed by the best homemade sticky toffee pudding. The food is so tasty and at a price you can't beat. Even with a £5 supplement for the steak it is still cheap.

Our local fish man in Glasgow, Craig, recommended we book. Did not disappoint. One of the best meals in a long time. New chef Ollie in place as of 18th Sept 20. Definitely worth booking ahead to ensure you get table. We loved it.

Nice little place in a picturesque location. We enjoyed the food, it's just a shame we had to wait so long for it. There were several staff frequenting the tables, but they didn't take our order for 20-30 mins after arriving. The food then took an absolute ice age to appear.Luckily when the food arrived it was attractively presented and very tasty. I had the muscles as a starter, which to my surprise was an enormous portion.Well recommended eatery. Just ensure you get your order placed in a timely fashion!

Good food & great service. Food is excellent, staff service is good, ambience is great. Highly recommend, worth the trip.

Booked at last minute as previous establishment had let us down. Starters were amazing, mackerel & deep fried brie. Mains were so so, advertised as whole lobster but it wasn't whole & the venison was seriously over cooked. Desserts of cheesecake & sticky toffee pudding were good. The view is amazing & our waitress was an absolute gem of a lady just can't help thinking the food is a bit overpriced.
