The View Restaurant in Fife

Lovely staff, good helpings of delicious, hearty food and reasonable prices. Nice decor inside, beautiful views of the railway bridge and Dundee across the river, and the bathrooms were clean and new. They allowed us to sit out in a cabin out the back, as we had a dog with us, and it was snug and comfy as it has its own heater. There are also outside tables. I would go again!

Beautiful meal in understated surroundings. Unintrusive and very professional staff made for lovely service. Definitely worth a visit! Great view across to Dundee and the Rail bridge.

A lovely atmosphere in this Riverside restaurant with quality food and warm, welcoming staff. Both young ladies serving the tables were efficient and non-obtrusive, and the view of the Tay is an added bonus. Certainly will be returning.

Family party of ten enjoyed dinner at this restaurant. Service was fantastic as was the food.The meals where All presented with care. Tasted delicious. Nothing left on any plate. All of the above is what is expected from any restaurant but many can't deliver this . Well done team "The View"One thing was missing tonight and that was the spectacular view but it was foggy outside so we will let them off.Only one other thing to say.Thank you.

First class food. Vegetables cooked to perfection as part of the best Christmas Dinner I've enjoyed for a long time. Keep your chef!!

Always a delight to visit The View. Today was no exception. I ordered the confit of duck and it was amazing, cooked to perfection. Love this place.

This restraunt would be a great place to visit for the view alone, but the great food and excellent service make it a must if you are in the area. Sunday to Thursday there is a set menu with two courses for £24 which is good value in light of the quality of the locally sourced food. The service was also fantastic; the waitresses were lovely. We'll be back.
