The Waterfront in Fife

The waitress and chef were extremely helpful. Chef actually came out and talked me through the vegan meal he could make me. Advised if I had booked then more options could be made available.

Brilliant service, don't know who it was but apparently she has only been there a few weeks. Why was she so good? She knew what was what on the menu, polite, humourous and very attentive.As well as the staff roles the food was delicious with monkfish catch if the day and pear in filo pastry desert a must!!I'll definitely go here again, and not just for the staff!!

Had an excellent mid week meal at this excellent restaurant. A fantastic pasta parcel stuffed with chicken for starter followed by meltingly tender braised ox cheek with a medley of extra vegetables. Outstanding cooking and presentation. Had a good chat with the chef proprietor as well. Outstanding quality and value - highly recommended.

Visited for the first time last night and was more than impressed. The waiting staff were lovely and friendly, the food was to die for and the chef went above and beyond to suit dietary requirements. Will definitely be back, would give 10 stars if I could.

Restaurant is not cozy and not on Waterfront. Food was pretty good, especially ox cheeks. But the owner served us alone and everything took time. The worse thing was that owner didn't break a bill for 3 parties, as we asked, but made 1 bill, in which he mixed everything up so, that only at home we figured that he counted our drinks twice. First he put drinks separately, but then added also total of the drinks again! We left the city early in the morning with a group and couldn't go there to complain.

Always enjoy lunch here. Reasonably priced. Staff friendly. Toilets could do with an update, and it's always a little chilly. Food is always delicious & well presented.

Our second visit to The Waterfront we were not disappointed ,the food is superb ,the staff are friendly and helpful this is cooking at its best it is a small menu but the quality is outstanding we were there for lunch with friends and they were most impressed

So me and my husband went in looking for a nice meal to celebrate our anniversary. The food was poorly seasoned and the chef was too full of himself he thought the food was absolutely perfect. Staff looked like they didn’t want to be there so I felt uncomfortable sitting there in such a dreary atmosphere. When me and my husband wanted to share a bottle of wine he just poured all of in into the 2 glasses and took away the bottle. I would not recommend when there are much better and cheaper places nearby

Excellent value lunch menu. Great food that tasted fresh and light. Great service with the courses served at a leisurely pace so we could enjoy our meal. We did not have a dessert, but the espresso was also excellent and a fitting end to a lovely meal

Fantastic food and service for a very reasonable price.We had a great night at the waterfront!We were welcomed with a big smile and the service was just superb.The food was excellent -we had the prawns ravioli , the veal escalope and the venison- all of them were cooked to perfection!For dessert we shared the panna cotta which was amazing.Definitely one of the best restaurants around.We will be back for sure !Thanks
