Really nice fish , batter was amazing chips could ov been cooked a wee bit longer but other than that it was amazing 👌

After reading the reviews, I expected more. Wait staff was attentive and nice. However, I found the fried cod extremely greasy and the chips were a strange texture- they were not crunchy but more on the chewy side

Great food as always. Staff very friendly and accommodating. We had a party of 8 and the children that were with us got handed colouring stuff. Would highly recommend

Popped in here the other day on a whim. Had planned to go to the Fish Bar but it was closed as the fryers were broken.I had the fish supper - beautiful crisp haddock in batter, perfectly cooked fluffy chips, tasty peas, bread and a pot of tea - all for £11.50 - bargain and absolutely delicious! My mum had the batter prawns and chips - also delicious.Service from the young waitress was excellent- prompt and attentive.Only minor thing was the amount of folk who mistook the front door to the restaurant as the takeaway entrance. Other than that an excellent visit.

Five stars for this place as it fully deserves them. Nestled in the seaside of anstruther this chippy serves amazing tasty food. Photos attached. The homemade curry with boiled is just a neat portion for one and it tastes amazing and I recommend it. The fish supper is also great. My dining table was the sea wall with stone seating and the view was just good for dying at. Update 23/01/22 restaurant open as normal masks required when walking around restaurant. Their home made curry is still amazing. Just this place is still continuously putting out great food each and every single time I go.

Braw chippy! Super friendly staff and delicious fish & chips. Breaded fish & chips, mushy peas, bread and tea for £12.15...bargain! Staff super friendly and great views of the harbour.Nice to go somewhere different to the Anstruther Fish Bar! The Wee Chippy... Just braw! 😝

Brilliant chip shop. Fish in breadcrumbs was the best I've tasted. Service was quick and staff friendly. Really couldn't fault it. We had tried the award winning chip shop further along but was not at all impressed. Would definately recommend the wee chippy.

In all honesty I can't recall having a better chippy. The staff were very efficient and helpful. The chips were delicious and really fresh. The homemade tartar sauce was out of this world. My wife had the haddock and she gives it top marks, My kids had the sausages and chicken nuggets and they loved it also. Definitely recommend as one of the best chippies to go to in Scotland A+

Absolutely loved the fish! Batter was crisp and light and the fish was beautifully fresh. Covid measures were in place and tables cleaned after each customer. Staff couldn't have been nicer (think Sophie was our waitress) or more attentive. Well done 👍and the price was reasonable. Looking forward to coming back and we'll worth the drive from Edinburgh.

I'm sure if your getting a fish it will be OK. However the portion sizes are rediculous (half portion). If the quality of the other products on the menu are anything to go by Id skip and go to the well know chip shop further along. The sauceage supper I received. The sauceage was less than half the size of any chip shop I've ever been to. Normally there are 2 x large sauceages. These things were more batter than meat itself. It was like Asda smart price or something.Wouldn't recommend. Day trip out from West Fife and the only reason I didn't go to the other shop as it had a non socially distances 70ft que minimum.
