Tremendous bar, with a very hard working owner, and superb punters, who the majority are characters in the nicest possible way, lunchtime there is good wholesome food served.

Small friendly local bar with friendly bar staff.

We go here quite regularly on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. The always quick service, and the staff are lovely. Food is good and the prices are great. You can get a two course meal for about £7 and three courses for an extra couple pounds. They always have specials on and they serve light bite options for most meals, which is good as sometime the portions you get are quite big. Especially the salad and baked potato.

Top wee pub, great food and authentic. This pub has kept its selfrespect by remaining true to its roots, the music scene. If you want cocktails n flowers forget it, if you want real people and good music this is the place for you.

What a wonderful place and an owner! Lovely, friendly atmosphere, the polite staff and cheap drinks. Totally recommend.
