AliBob at Cairn O'Mohr in Perth & Kinross

I've been here many times before but was even more impressed on this occasion. Arriving about 3.30, I didn't realise they closed at 3 but was nevertheless welcomed enthusiastically and asked to come in for coffee and cake. I settled for a delicious Americano and an even more delicious plain scone with butter, all very modestly priced. Even though I was intruding on their clean up time, and I think members of the family were having a meal, I was treated with the very best of courtesy and polite banter. I would urge everyone not to be an idiot like me, so check on the opening times first. I can guarantee a food and service experience worth repeating time and time again.

If I had to pick one of the few highlights of 2020, it would have to be our visits to Alibob's Cafe.I'm fairly picky / critical when it comes to sandwiches but, hand on heart, the "Alibob" on white bread is an absolute delight that cannot be improved upon, in my opinion. From my extensive testing of strawberry tarts, I can confirm that they are delicious too. I'd also advise that you should probably take one or two home with you - definitely worth it.Beyond that, the craic with Ali, Bob and the rest of the staff is brilliant and we have been made to feel so welcome. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic cafe. Both the breakfast and lunch menus offer a lot of choices for reasonable prices. The cakes are delicious and there's always so many to choose from. You can also take a slice or two away and enjoy it at home. There's also a vegan menu and some cakes are vegan or gluten free. It's nice to see a cafe catering for people with allergies and intolerances. We'll definitely be back.

Amazing staff, friendly atmosphere and food is delicious, been couple of times always a pleasure! Dog friendly as well!

One of my favourite places to eat lunch. Excellent range of soups and sandwiches, not run of the mill. The owner is very friendly. Good range of cakes. Perfect if you are vegetarian or vegan - whole separate menu.

This is a great wee café located just next to the Cairn O’Mohr wine shop. There is parking available at the front. It has vegan and vegetarian options. It’s dog friendly so if you’re lucky you might even get to pet a cute pup. The staff were really friendly and attentive, the service was quick. It is a small kitchen so not sure what it would be like if very busy. They have a selection of baked goods so would be good for a coffee and cake too.

I visited the cafe yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by how welcomed I felt. Straight away was offered a traditional, gluten free or vegan menu. There is a lot of choice, didn’t wait long for the food and coffee was fantastic too. The staff is very friendly. Definitely will be back.

My dog and I visit as often as possible not only for the excellent food and delicious baking but for the warm welcome and friendliness from all. Mia does enjoy a tuna sandwich.
