Great coffee; quite busy with cyclists, as well as musicians; mums and dads and children too. Light and bright interior as well as outside seating. Gift shop had nice items for sale, including a Peter Rabbit/Beatrix Potter section. All the staff were pleasant and helpful.

Exhibition ‘Weights of Responsibility’ is running at Birnam Arts until 30 April. This is a wonderful creative hub in the heart of Birnam with galleries, cafe, theatre, dance hall and workshop spaces.

Lovely cafe inside this spacious art centre. The food was delicious (my toastie was perfect and so was my partner's soup) and the ladies behind the counter were lovely. They persuaded us to try some of their homemade cakes and they were so right! They were perfectly moist and delicious. So, if you're looking for a place to have a bite in Birnam, give it a go. Food is good and the prices are super reasonable.

Really nice Beatrix Potter exhibition, garden, play area for children, cafe, bookstore too. Wonderful visit in Birnam. If you are traveling to the Highlands or from you should stop.If you are a fan, this quaint precious town and exhibit is worth the stop.

Beatrix Potter exhibition cost £14 for a family of 4 or more. There is a cafe & souvenir/gift shop. There is a garden outside with brass statues of the famous animals. This is free to visit...respectfully.

The Beatrix Potter exhibition is mainly a big room where children can play, disguise themselves as her book characters. There should be a little more information about her involvement in nature conservation. Apart some of her beautiful mushroom watercolours, there is not much about her.The village (Dunkeld) is worth a visit, for environmental setting, the cathedral and its coffee shop
