Cafe Tabou in Perth & Kinross

Overall food was good. Starter portions are ridiculously small for the price. Tbone ordered medium came blue. Frozen chips.

Recommended by Deans restaurant when we could not get a Sunday lunch table. We were not disappointed. An authentic French flavour experience. Incredible bisque, smoked chicken, loved the sweet potatoe cooked in orange to accompany the sea green, , melt in the mouth chocolate fudge cake with mango ice cream, toffee crepe and more.Lovely service and the perfect background music. The coffee was a little disappointing after all the other delicious flavours however we will be back. Great value menu of the day with a tempting choice of specials.

Outstanding! Dined on my own and was made to feel at home and welcome. Then the food came which was delicious and beautifully presented. Full mark to this little gem

What a treat! Flavours, textures and service all excellent. Would eagerly order the following again: seafood bisque, beef medallions, and lemon meringue.

Enjoyable meal especially the sweet. Felt the main course of lamb was a bit more pink than I would like it.. but that the French for you..

Monday 8th Nov will be my third time here. This restaurant is absolutely stunning. It's very warm and inviting with a rustic & quaint charm. The staff are just wonderful and friendly and always on hand to cater to your every while. And the food OH MY GOD! the chef is absolutely amazing and the authentic taste is just out of this world. This is my favriout restaurant in Perth.

Four in the party at lunch time on Saturday with a table reserved and probably just as well as it did get busy. It does have a French vibe, the three waitresses that served us did a great job of seating us and getting drinks and the food order promptly. We sat inside but there is seating outside if you are brave enough. We ordered daily specials and items from the set menu and all were tasty, fulsome and timely. We enjoyed our visit and would recommend it if French food is desired.

Amazing food and cocktails. We chose from the early evening menu. It was delicious. Will definitely be back.

I couldn't believe how good this place is. It is very busy so book early. The staff were excellent and the food first class. The wines were top drawer as well. Well worth 5 stars

Perth is well worth a visit. Magnificent architecture and scenery.Café Tabou was a great find right in the centre of town. Cocktails in the sunshine followed by a delicious seafood platter to share. Service was exemplary. Petit Chablis excellent.I recommend you book as it is one of the few restaurants and was busy early evening.Perth seems to go to sleep before 9pm!!
