Cargills in Perth & Kinross

We were looking to go somewhere for lunch last week and we were very happy to have found this little gem. The interior is good, the staff really polite,friendly and made us feel relaxed and looked after! And the food - what can I say - haven't had such a good meal for a long time! Amazing! Highly recommend to visit 👌

Amazing food, atmosphere and lovely staff. I cant recommend Cargills enough! It's amazing. I would add that if you are curvy then the chairs inside might be a little uncomfortable (see pic) but there is seats outside and in the gazebo which don't have restricting arm rests.

The staff were all very lovely *BUT* - We went for the Sunday roast since it was Sunday and unfortunately were very disappointed. It was £16 a plate, we got 1 roast potatoe in half, half a carrot in quarters, a small portion of cabbage (not quite dessert spoon sized) and a small/medium chicken breast with not enough gravy. There was also something called scurly but we didn't care for it. As I say the staff were wonderful and perhaps the other food would have been worth our time. But their Sunday lunch needs a lot of work, especially for £16.

Sunday dinner was the worst I’ve ever had. Was not roast dinner at all, boiled carrots, gravy like water, and very small portion. Only ate it because we were hungry, we really should have walked out

Excellent meal excellent service good atmosphere music as it should be background so you can talk amongst the group without raising your voice

Excellent food, attentive staff.After a day at the races and to avoid the traffic jam back into the city, we headed in the opposite direction to Blairgowrie...and we're glad we did. We're also glad we gave Cargill's a go...superb food, I could go on all night about our meal but I won't...just try for yourself. We'll be back next time we're in Perth.

What an amazing restaurant. Menu is amazing, staff are very attentive without being intrusive.Pan fried liver was spot on and my friend felt the same with his fish dish.Amazing food, amazing service and will highly recommend to family and friends.We are from Glasgow and staying in a hotel around the corner..Superb selection of wines, beers and spirits.

Took the family while on a break. Food was superb with a great level of service, not overwhelmed but looked after. Anyone who visits around Blairgowrie and hasn't been, trust me get it on the bucket list.

We had such a fabulous meal here, while visiting family. Thomas and the Team were exceptional, the food was out of this world and the attentiveness of the staff, outstanding!! Thank You…so much, we will be back, very soon 😊

Excellent set up outside. Rigorous covid procedures; sanitiser, wipes and tissues on every table.You can still see the staff's big smiles under the facemasks!The crab salad starter was light and refreshing. The beer battered haddock and chip outstanding, the fish was incredibly soft. A tempting selection of cakes were on offer too. Cargill's Sunday roasts are not worth missing also.Highly recommended.
