Passing through Birnam to see NCO (scottish born female osprey at loch of lowes 💙) and discovered this wee coffee shop.....received 1st class service and the food (bacon,brie and Cranberry baguette) was so so good. Such a lovely wee place will definitely be back x

Miss this at your cost You'd easily pass this amazing little gem of an eatery for something more upmarket, dont! Top quality, locally produced homemade comfort food at its best, you wont get anything better value or quality in the area from hearty quality breakfast to delicious cakes and jams.This is a regular stop for us when in the area and we introduced some new customers this weekend.Something really nice, the young staff waitressing were lovely, chatty and interested in what brought us to the area, I appreciated this level of service xPhotos of a selection of cakes on the day, scones came with a selection of homemade jams, toobusyeating for photos of what we actually ordered despite being in twice that day.Dont miss the 'Workers breakfast' or the victoria sandwich😍🤗

Great breakfast, lovely clean friendly place with parking and even my little dawg was made to feel welcome, Top notch but you need to reserve a table in advance or its likely you could be disappointed as i was.

This little cafe was a revelation. We have stayed in Birnam on several occasions, but never ventured into the cafe because, quite frankly, we were snobbishly put-off by its unpretentious appearance. More fool us. The cafe is spotless, intelligently dog-friendly, the staff welcoming, kind and attentive, and whoever is in charge of the cooking can really cook! The standard Scottish fry-up-type breakfast, which I normally don't like, was tasty, beautifully cooked, non-greasy and satisfying. There is nowhere for a cook to hide in such a seemingly simple meal, and this cook has no reason whatsoever to hide. If only we'd discovered it at the beginning of our stay in Dunkeld at one of the most awful hotels we've ever stayed at, with the lousiest chef/s we've ever encountered, at which after the second attempt at breakfast there we ate out for every meal. Our meal at the Birnam Tea Room was lovely, and the cafe will be my and my OH's go-to place now. The only reservation I have about posting this review is that it might help to make the cafe so popular, we won't be able to get in when we come back to Birnam!

What a fantastic little cafe and shop. Great value kids lunches, lovely staff and off the beaten track too. Lovely local feeling. Support local businesses! Will be back.

Simple but delicious! Great coffee, vegan and gluten free options. Lovely people.

Stopped here for takeaway tea and coffee and couldn't resist the impressive scones, both the cheese and fruit ones were large, freshly baked and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Staff were friendly and the tea room and was inviting and busy with locals.

Incredibly friendly staff, and welcoming atmosphere. A good range of local artists wares on sale, as well as fresh produce. The cakes and scones are unbelievably good!!

Great café - friendly and helpful staff, good selection of the usual tray bakes, cakes, sandwiches and baked potato's. They also do a great vegan menu.During Covid-19, the tea room has been a great asset to the local community, expanding the retail side to include lots of fresh veg and fruit. It also has excellent Covid-19 practices in place to help. Highly recommended.
