The meal was fine, I had fish and chips, husband had macaroni cheese and chipsNice and hot reasonable price. I would have had steak pie but there was none left 😕I have had their chilli con carne in past but found it too mild for me, I know that is a difficult one to balance.

I found the guy serving so incredibly helpful and spent loads of time explaining about each fish I was considering buying. Couldn't have been any more helpful. Always have good service in this store

This is the 3rd time my friend and I have gone there for lunch and every time there has been an issue with the food. The Brussels sprouts were cold and we couldn't cut through them. Chips and fries were cold. Parsnips were hard and cold. Macaroni was over salted. Chips and fries were replaced when we complained but they were warm only.I have given 1 star because the staff can only deal with what they are given and they are very nice.Think it is time you replaced your excuse for a chef.

I popped in to Dobbies hoping for some lovely post Christmas bargains. We are visiting my family and always look forward to the Dobbies sale. We were extremely disappointed the majority of the stock is already packed away on huge crates and the stock that remains is not great. Feels rushed as there are people packing up around you. Very poor compared to previous years

I usually love a visit to dobbie's but things have changed. Food in the cafe has changed (not for the better) as have the prices!!!The thing I'm reviewing right now though is the box of crackers I bought and I'm sure hundreds of other people bought the same ones. I've gone for dobbie's crackers (£20 per box but £10 nearer Christmas). They usually have simple but interesting wee gifts in them but not this year. A paper hat and a slip of paper with a joke and a motto was all that was inside a large cracker. Then in the box was a blooming game which needed all torn apart and nobody played it.At the high price of £20 for 8 it is just a joke!

Fantastic garden centre, loads of items and few bargains to be had. Restaurant is very good and all staff very pleasant and helpful. Fantastic staff in the Aquarium section and very vast selection of Fish. Would recommend a visit for anyone.

Had breakfast whilst OH shopped, food ok coffee weaker than I’d like but fine. Have used retailer in past for garden furniture and tools, good at dealing with returns..

Before I start I just want too say this is the first bad review I have ever left on this place. Returning back after lock down and everything has change. From food standards to paying through your nose with price increase.Bought 3 kids pizza's and chips only for all 3 to be served burnt.Steak pie tasted sweet like sugarAnd the macaroni was dry and sticky.No-one could eat the food, it was absolutely revolting. And paid nearly £40!! Juice is £2.15 a can!! So no-one had anything to drink. Total rip off of a place.

Good selection of healthy plants but it is very expensive for gardening accessories, sometimes 2 or 3 times the price of items online.
