Fortingall Hotel - Restaurant in Perth & Kinross

Dropped in to this beautiful building for some tea and ended up with the most delicious Cullen skink I've ever had.Very friendly and welcoming.

Our second year dropping into Fortingall, and it won’t be our last. The owner and staff couldn’t be more accommodating, the food is very good, with a broad wine list and, it is dog friendly - so ticks all our boxes. Highly recommended to anyone looking for true Scottish hospitality at its best.

Didn’t stay in the hotel but had a meal while visiting the historic Fortinghall Yew which is right beside the hotel. Very friendly service and we were impressed with the food - all 3 dishes we ordered were exactly as they should’ve been. Small, so probably best to book if it’s the busy season.

What a lovely hotel! Spent a few days there last July around the time of my birthday. Staff very friendly. Restaurant menu is great. Regular live music in the bar on Fridays and Saturdays. Also a pleasant beer garden to enjoy an afternoon's pint when the sun shines!

A warm welcome awaited us at the Fortingall Hotel! Super comfortable bed and the whisky that was in the room was a lovely touch. We stayed on a dinner, bed and breakfast rate and the food was absolutely first class! Would not hesitate to recommend or return to the Fortingall Hotel.

Highly recommended! One can't help but feel homely here. The room, dining area and the sitting rooms were comfortable and had a cosy ambience. The staff were also attentive, polite and friendly. They made sure we were well taken care off. We had full board and were very satisfied with the high standard of the food for breakfast and dinner. Though not a five star, the standard of food served were as good as five star truly!

One of the beast steaks I've ever had. Always our local place to eat for great food! Would be nice if they had the background music a bit louder, as you could hear a pin drop. It was also fairly cold, so the fire could have been lit. These are the only reasons I didn't give 5 stars.

We loved our stay here, this hotel was a cut above all other hotels and BnBs we have stayed in nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, warm and cosy and the music in the bar on Fridays cannot be missed!!

We are often at Fortingall for holidays or short breaks and always thoroughly enjoy our time there.It is perfect in every way, from the friendly and helpful staff to lovely tasty food.It is a family friendly hotel where you can also relax.I would highly recommend it.

The place was pleasant enough and the staff were nice. We had 3 scones and a muffin with. 2 hot chocolate and teas. They came prett quickly, and were nice enough if a little expensive for what they were.
