Excellent service . Delicious food especially Sunday lunch. Regular visit.

Really lovely food, and amazingly friendly and kind owner and staff.Due to car trouble we arrived well over an hour late to meet family for a meal. The staff were so welcoming when we arrived even though we were so late and very quickly gave us both a bowl of soup to warm us up.As we had arrived so late we weren't able to order any main courses as the main chef was no longer on shift (we had been told this prior to arriving and we totally understood) but we ordered several tasty starters which were brought out to us nice and prompt. Much to our surprise the owner then followed these up with a full roast pork dinner for us both which she had put together four us despite the kitchen not being open for main courses. The pork was delicious and we were so grateful for the kindness and thoughtfulness, and to top it all off they didn't even charge us for the main courses they had brought us!We had lots of fun chatting with the owner and the staff, and we really enjoyed the complimentary home-made limoncello :)Overall a really great experience and we'll definitely be back.Many thanks to the owner and staff for looking after us so well.

A character full, cosy, charming local place. Friendly service, nice views and good food. We enjoyed our roast beef and will return!

Google suggested this restaurant to me so glad it did. Good COVID measures everyone wearing masks hand sanitizer & tables well spaced out. Warm welcome from owner . Food was lovely . Very clean and responsible price. Would love to go back 🙂

Amazing lunch again from Vicki and co.....Very enjoyable time for all the family (and the kids loved the macoronie cheese), with beautiful food and attentive cheerful service. Thanks again Vicki. One of the best dinners I've had!! The staff were so lovely and attentive. We sat outside for a drink (and super tasty complimentary dips and bread which we weren't expecting) before dinner and the scenery over the loch was just gorgeous! When we got sat at our table the staff had decorated it as it was my birthday. Such a thoughtful touch! The steak and Thai duck curry were both so tender and delicious. The desserts were stunning too. Genuinely could not fault it! Please remember to bring cash to tip the lovely staff as they cannot take tips by card!

9 of us went for my dad's 80th. It was a really wonderful experience. We are used to fine dining in cities and this easily matched them for quality and service. The staff were really attentive and amazing with our young boys. They were full of empathy and knew what we needed before we asked. The food was excellent and there was a good variety as well as perfect kids choices. We all agreed that this is definitely our new family favourite!

We thoroughly enjoyed lunch at The Grouse and Claret and highly recommended this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service impeccable but mot intrusive. We ate outdoors and thoroughly appreciated the lovely views and the calm atmosphere. My little granddaughter, who is only two, was welcomed by the staff who anticipated her every need. I was delighted when she was offered smaller portioned meals that were child friendly. It is not a cheap option for lunch but it is a little gem and well worth it.

Went on Sunday for lunch. Two courses and coffee £23. The menu was fabulous....could have chosen everything! Opted for the roast beef which was tender and delicious. If the weather is fine you can sit in the garden overlooking the fishing ponds. Outside is ready for a lick of paint, but otherwise perfect.
