Lovely welcoming staff. Clean and comfortable room, great breakfast. Janet went above and beyond by personally giving us a lift when our car broke down.

Booked with them as was let down for a birthday meal - they did squeeze us in which was much appreciated hence why I have given the the 4. StarsThe food was ok service was poor as we were asked to move once seated and had drinks , which for a party of 16 is not easy.Would I recommend, tough one but I will certainly try the place again when I go back to see what’s it’s like on not such a busy night.4 stars I believe is more than fair and would like to thank them for squeezing us in

Room is fine but apparently there is a wedding party in tonight do they have decided to close the kitchen. After traveling 500 miles to get here I was hoping for a nice meal and peaceful sleep. No chance of either.

We had a beautiful lunch here. Waiter was very friendly and professional. My husband had venison lasagna, garlic bread and salad. I have macaroni cheese and a portion of fries. They were both delicious! Will definitely recommend to others. We also complimented the chef.

Great staff and selection of beers, ales and spirits. Good Karaoke on a Thursday night. Definitely a bit more subdued and pleasant than The Niblick down the road. Safer too, if you're not a local.

Visited for lunch and was very disappointed. Very limited choice and I only stayed for my husbands sake. Macaroni and cheese was as dry as a bone and spiral pasta used not macaroni! No evidence of any sauce - it had clearly been spooned into a fancy dish from a bigger pot! No delicious cheese topping but instead the chef had decided to torch the already dry pasta on top making it even drier, hard, burnt and inedible! If you can't make Macaroni and cheese as a chef then you shouldn't be in a professional kitchen and certainly not charging £8.50 for the experience. Definitely will not be back.

Would say it was nice to stay here but the room I was in faced out to a back alley where a certain shop would very noisily offload supplies at around 5am. The shower in the room was small and was cold unless you used it at a certain time of day. The restaurant was clean, modern and spacious with friendly staff. The breakfasts were nice but a different selection every morning. Evening meals were limited to 5 or 6 dishes, I opted for the steak pie which was on par every time. Unfortunately on one occasion we were ignored until a certain table had all their couses served first, bearing in mind there were only two tables booked at that time. In my opinion some of the staff were hit and miss. Maybe lack of experience. With a little bit if attention to the upgrading of the rooms, the Glendevon has potential.
