Gloagburn Farm Shop and Cafe in Perth & Kinross

Always a lovely experience visiting Gloagburn. The food is at a consistent high level, offering variety and good value for money, the shop is well stocked and offers great variation. I take my elderly parents there most weeks and we are always so well looked after. There is always a family member working, making sure everyone is cared for, no wonder the place is always so busy. First class

We adore this place for food/dining,the food is fresh fresh fresh and delicious!Never disappointed.Only gave 4 stars as the gift shop and store are frightfully expensive.Also I bought pricey golden wonder potatoesout of the open sack, when we got home to Glasgow every one I peeled was rotten.Was not a happy bunny.However don't miss out on trying the restaurant it is fab, just like the staff.

Great farm shop with a wide selection of quality goods. Their is a wonderful restaurant with a great selection of food and beverage. Service is good, staff professional and helpful.

The Iy reason they do t get a full 5 stars is that for a farm shop they seem to be the only one in the area that DON’T allow dogs inside. This meant we had to take turns having a wander around the shop.Other than that it’s very pretty and the homeward and food goods looked great, albeit a bit on the more expensive side, again for the area.We didn’t get chance to visit the cafe/restaurant but the food smelt good!

Lovely place. The coffee shop was jam packed, we couldn't find a table unfortunately, but we stroke that most friendly sheep ever. Spotted two Scottish cows as well. Worth a pop in, if in the area.

Visited today to walk through the amazing field of sunflowers. We stopped and had lunch in the cafe before a walk through the farm shop. The food looked and tasted great. The place was very busy though, with queues everywhere.

Must go during the sunflower blooming period. They opened the sunflower trail. Still have a more week to go in 2021!!

Lovely walk around the Sunflower Trail, well organised. Then bought some dinner at the well stocked farm shop. The sunshine helped!

Gloagburn strikes me as an upmarket, slightly posh, place to have a coffee and cake...mainly frequented by upper to middle class retirees who then peruse the over priced gardening supplies, books, artisan beers and organic farm produce.The farm and coffee shop is a good business model and one that obviously works seeing that the building has extended a lot over the years. It reminds me a little of Loch Leven Larder, if you've been there, and there's obviously an appetite for that style of venue.Initial impressions aside, Gloagburn is situated just outside of Perth among some lovely countryside. There is a nice play area set up for kids near the car park, with animals for the little ones and adults to see nearby.I found the menu a little pricey, but quality is good and it's certainly a place to go for an upmarket afternoon tea or the like. I didn't have a cake or tray bake, but they looked good.I had an open face roast beef sandwich and a flat white coffee. It cost just shy of 13 pounds, a little more including a tip. The beef was good and the salad, though not a lot of it, was fresh and accompanied well. The plate still seemed a little sparse to me, some veg crisps or something like that would have been a great filler to add content to the plate but still in keeping with the style and palate.Staff were friendly and efficient, and the sitting area was spacious with plenty room for wheelchairs. The view was lovely, looking out to the neighbouring fields.The toilets were stylish and though they weren't dirty, the hand towel basket was overflowing and could have done with a visit a few hours earlier to empty it.The disabled toilet was spacious and I would say a solo wheelchair user, if assisted with the doors, would probably manage alright with turning etc.There looked to be enough room to get legs under the restaurant tables for wheelchair users too. So if a wheelchair user can manage the rough ground of the car park alright, I'd say accessibility is pretty good. 👍I enjoyed my visit. A bit pricey maybe, but not terrible value... paying for the farm shop vibe and the quality that comes with that.

Lovely farm shop and cafe. Good accessibility and spacing. Plenty parking. Food and coffee was very tasty.
