THE cafe to go to in Pitlochry! Came here with my parents for the first time yesterday, and we will most definitely be back. The staff were so accommodating sorting a table for us during a very busy afternoon rush, and the young man who served us was funny and charismatic. The decor is bright and welcoming, my mum especially enjoyed the handpainted birds on the walls. Our tastes are quite different food-wise, but there was something to cater for everyone. Cakes looked absolutely delicious 😍 what we did have was very yummy and gracious portion sizes. A wide range of milkshakes, coffees, hot chocolates and I've never seen such an extensive tea list! Also a takeaway ice cream stall attached to the front. The only place I will be going to in Pitlochry from now on!

Discovered Hettie's Tea Room on the road back from Aviemore. We saw two places on our arrival that took our fancy but we made the right choice with Hettie's.The staff were so polite, friendly and helpful. There was lots of delicious cakes on offer as well as a large range of teas. We opted for a coffee and scone with jam as we had eating a large breakfast earlier.

Very busy and tables too close together so didn't feel comfortable. Some staff not wearing masks. As I was on my own I was seated at a table for two which had been shoe horned into a tight corner between tables.. Menu was simply soup, sandwiches and paninis with your standard fillings plus a selection of cakes and scones. Only one soup option which today was parsnip and apple!!! Overall the menu lacked imagination. However, good selection of teas and coffees. I had coronation chicken which lacked any taste followed by carrot cake. Any carrot in the cake was smothered by the sickly icing. Breakfast tea was refreshing. Overall not a pleasant experience and I will look elsewhere next time

Great staff and lovely decor. Glutton that I am, I was excited about the indulgent menu, but was a bit disappointed with flavours. Calorific sweet treats guaranteed.. but be it the hot chocolate, or the cheesecake.. I could've done it better at home... even the soup was too salty...

Best tea room ever. Lovely cakes and big choice of tea. Very friendly staff. Just one of the best places to visit. Dogfight too which makes it even better.

Wonderful place. Got lucky on a table, should reserve. Hettie was great. Staff great. Real tea leaves not bags. Large range of teas. Slice of chocolate cake and Scone with jam and cream superb. On way out bought a sausage roll. Home made. Very tasty with onion. Went back next day but closed and we had to leave at 1000. Google wrong about opening hours, it was 1030. I would definitely go back like a shot. We should have gone earlier in our stay.5*

We were attracted to this cafe by the cakes displayed on the window. We were wowed when we entered the cafe and saw more cakes. We felt like kids in a candy shop. We were spoilt for choice. We finally chose a chocolate cake slice and a scone with cream and jam with a cup of cappuccino. The chocolate cake was big, soft moist and delicious. The scone was also big and delicious. The cappuccino was perfect. The ladies that served us were lovely, friendly and made us feel welcome. The customer service was 100%, top notch. I definitely recommend. We had a nice experience here.

Always a queue but well worth the wait (only a few minutes) lovely warm welcome. Very clean. Great choice of sweet and savoury. We had a scone with jam and cream.... it was huge and delicious. Well worth a visit ❤

Incredible cakes and milkshake, would definitely recommend the platter so you can try everything, and if you don't finish you can always take it home. Would recommend booking as it's hard to get a table otherwise, but worth it. (Also very covid safe and clean)

This was such a lovely quaint tearoom, they provided such friendly and attentive service and made us feel very welcome. They had a large array of their own special brewed teas which is worth trying! We tried the caramelized onion sausage roll, very tasty and good size and it came with wedges and a lovely coleslaw. The cake slices are huge and very nice. Make sure to book as this is a very popular and busy place. I will definitely be visiting again!!
