The best part of our Scotland trip! Harriet saved the day when we weren't able to find a ride to their lodge and arranged for our guide, Colin, to pick us up for our safari. I can't say enough about Colin! He was so knowledgeable about the history of the area and took us on the most incredible journey to the top of the mountain where we had a scrumptious wine and charcuterie lunch. The view felt like you were in a postcard. I highly recommend the private charter. The entire experience was heavenly!

Fantastic place. The mountain safari was mind blowing, it was a true adventure. The guides are knowledgeable and have great stories. Recommend to everyone. The staff are extremely polite and informative.

What a fabulous place. We only did the paddock due to it being Christmas Eve, but it was brilliant! Unfortunately we broke down and had to spend a considerable amount of time in the cafe - which was delicious! Such helpful staff, we made the most of the trails and play area.

We had a quick pitstop at Highland Safari on our way to Inverness and, it was an awesome experience at Red Deer Park. Andy is very knowledgeable and shared various facts about the Barn Owl and Deers while being super hilarious at the same time. The experience is well thought out and covers all expectations and a real good learning exposure to kids and adults alike. Thank you Andy for making the experience so memorable. We visited the Highland Safari cafe for a quick bite. Cafe has a good variety of food on the menu to suit all customers and through out the day. We were happy to have cheerful Meg as our server. She was very helpful and nice with handling the kids. We were treated on priority and served with piping hot food and drinks. Thank you once again Meg.

Great day out at the centre. We met Ossian the barn owl, fed the red deer, panned for jewels and had an excellent lunch at the cafe. We'll definitely be back for the safaris up the hill and more deer action!

Highland Safaris is not to be missed if visiting this area of Scotland. The Red Deer Encounter means you get to feed these beautiful animals by hand from the Red Deer barn. Also an encounter with a Barn Owl and an interesting talk by one of the guides. 4x4 Safaris into the surrounding hills are also available. The centre has an excellent gift shop and café. We had a memorable experience which was a highlight of our holiday.

Absolutely amazing day out with the kids! They had great fun panning for gold and gems. The cafe is great and the quality of the food is amazing as well.We also picked up some antlers from the shop to remind us of our trip!

Great cafe, gift shop and outdoor area. Lots to choose from on the menu, tasty coffee from the local Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters, the gift shop is stuffed full of things to buy and you can see deer in the fields. It's not to be missed, plenty of parking and open all year long, and you can book one of their popular safaris..🦌

Red Deer Centre- Love to see animals in such close contact and you can feed them from you hand with food provided by the ranger. Owl show is nice addition. Wee talk from the ranger about Red deers.Forest safari- place for improvement in my opinion as to call this forest safari is a big stretch. Photo on the website slightly misleading to the true story. In our case we paid for a trip in land rover up to hill only. Didn’t see any animals on the way- all squirrels hide and all red deer’s were on the another side of the hill. We had nice weather which was only bright side of this trip along with the Ranger talk about different plants/animals, which was nice addition to no animals anywhere on our path. You will be given binoculars to look around although as no animals in our case can be spotted(I’m not counting sheeps/dogs/chickens), we only looked on the trees.Golf panning is nice addition as well especially for children.

This was our first ever visit to Highland Safaris and wish we had been sooner. Such a great way to spend a few hours with the kids. The onsite play park works really well with activities for all ages, including searching for gold and other treasures. The Discovery Trail is fantastic and if you're bringing your kids bicycle, they have a track for that too.We had booked the Deer and Owl experience, led by Andy who was outstanding. His wit and knowledge was second to none and so keen to also 'entertain' as well as educate us all.We had both lunch and afternoon cake and treats, so got a great idea of what was on offer, we even managed to purchase a bit in the shop too 👍I'd highly recommend a visit, especially with younger members of the family, but there are also lots of other activities they do which we didn't take part in this time round.
