Absolutely loved our stay and the tasting menu at Killiecrankie - the rooms are beautiful and so much attention has gone into the entire space. The tasting menu was fantastic - so creative and utterly delicious. Thank you Matilda & Tom for a great stay!

We stayed at Killiecrankie House (KH) to celebrate a special occasion with a few friends and had a wonderful time! Owners Tom and Matilda have thought through all the details; their creativity is expressed throughout everything in the refurbished house, including its interiors, furniture, music and of course the menu. The view of the Highlands surrounding the house is breathtaking. The bedrooms are luxurious, simple and cosy. The cocktail bar area is stunning with tongue-in-cheek art around the room, reflecting Matilda’s playful side. The couple’s passion for food is evident in the living room where their personal collection of contemporary, classic cookbooks and other culinary-related hardbacks are available for the curious/food-loving guests to browse through. It’s a welcoming and intimate way of giving guests a glimpse into their food world and colourful personalities. The 13-course tasting menu was superb and, of course, the best part of our stay. Tom’s homage to Scottish ingredients, brilliant imagination and gastronomic curiosity is a delight. Matilda’s selection of the pairing drinks were equally delicious, including a dark, bold and sweet sake - a nod to her Japanese heritage. It’s simple - if you love to eat and drink and fancy a trip to the beautiful Cairngorms then I recommend you book soon. Keep an eye on KH, they’re just starting a very exciting journey in the culinary world! Good luck Matilda, Tom and team!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home by Matilda and Tom.Killiecrankie House has been delightfully restored with 5 luxurious bedrooms, and has an invitingly chic bar and restaurant. The highlight though, is the food served byTom and his kitchen staff. The 13 course tasting menu is exceptional and almost entirely locally sourced.Would definitely return again.

A place with heart and soul. Every aspect of the food, drink and accommodation at Killiecrankie comes from the deep passion that Tom and Matilda clearly have for what they do. Not only is it worth the trip alone for the meal, but the rooms themselves are top-notch and the surrounding Killiecrankie and Pitlochry areas offer breathtaking views. One of the best drinks pairings I’ve ever had with a tasting menu - don’t hesitate.

Absolutely best taster menu we have ever had. Hotel and the hosts Matilda and Tom fantastic nothing was too much trouble and the breakdast this morning was sensational.

Such an incredible place - the tasting menu is amazing (get the pairing!), the rooms are beautiful, and so much attention has gone into every detail at the hotel. We can’t wait to come back!

My partner and I had the pleasure of visiting Killiecrankie House the week before Christmas. Whilst the main attraction is the incredible dining experience (which I’ll mention later in this post), this visit had much more to offer too. The whisky tasting prior to dinner was unique, comprising a thoughtful mixture of classical and modern distilleries. Overall it was fun and informative and a great way to start the evening. Back to the main event. The tasting menu and drinks pairing were meticulously thought out. Bringing together the best of Scottish produce with creative and in some cases unexpected combinations. It can not be understated how enjoyable the meal was. Aside from this, the hosts were fantastic! Bringing a very relaxed and flexible approach to our experience. Finally, the rooms were in immaculate condition.Overall the best way to describe this experience was novel.Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed here on Wednesday evening. What a treat!! The property has recently been fully renovated and it is easy glamour at it's best. Warm and welcoming from the decor to the staff. Everything couldn't have been done better. Great fun in the cocktail bar with some outstanding original concoctions followed by a most excellent tasting menu. The food was exceptional and innovative and although some courses sounded a little dubious, we thoroughly enjoyed everything that was put in front of us. The amazing meal was followed by a peaceful night's sleep in our beautifully appointed bedroom. Wonderful Scottish cosmetics supplied in the bathroom. Breakfast was the final delight with yet more delicious taste sensations. We could not recommend Killiecrankie House more highly and will definitely be returning soon. Well done to Matilda, Tom and their team. Hope it is an outstanding success!

A must visit if you’re in the area, or passing through! I ate here last weekend and stayed overnight. The tasting menu was exquisite and adventurous, and the team are warm and attentive. The property itself has been restored beautifully by the new owners, and the bedrooms are gorgeous and super comfortable. It has a great little cocktail bar too with loads of whisky for a post (or pre!) dinner dram. A real fine dining experience without any stuffiness, I can’t wait to return

Had dinner here last night and it was unlike any meal I’ve had in a long time. The food felt so much of the place and the time. The whole menu had a narrative (like the mouldy food inspired by penicillin invented in Scotland) and the team were so friendly and welcoming you barely want to leave.
