Staff are really friendly and helpful, food is amazing, restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. Our waiter took time to make menu recommendations despite it being a really busy night

Food fantasticService fantastic (even the bad jokes!)If I was more local I would be in this place filling my rather large belly every evening! Well done.

Ate here a few times now, and the food has been very nice each time. It's worth visiting for that alone. Additionally it's nicely decorated. Knocked off 1 star because there's been a significant wait every time I've dined here. Maybe I've caught them on off days? Or they're short staffed? Either way if you're going to dine here maybe anticipate a wait. The most recent visit our drinks alone took 15-20 minutes to arrive, the food close to 35-40. So give it a go and remember that staffing is an issue with restaurants everywhere right now

An amazing restaurant. I can easily say, one of my favourite restaurants in Perth. The food is fresh and soo tasty. I like the new menu where are pictures of food so you have better images of what you will get. Staff members are amazing, friendly and willing to help.

Good authentic Japanese food in Perth, lots of options and sharing dishes. Interesting cocktail choices. Very pretty interior and well decorated, unfortunately it was very oily smelling.

Brilliant place, super yummy food and the best Katsu Chicken I have ever had! The menu is impressive with lots of options and the mocktails were really good. The team in tonight were awesome, really lovely and hilarious too. First visit for me but I will be back. Thanks ☺️

The ambiance is really good, cosy decor and somewhat classy. The chairs were really comfy. I didn't particularly like the sushi, it was falling to pieces. I had the pad thai with prawns and it was yummy, but very rich in sauce, smothered in peanut butter, which I like but I thought it was too much. I think the best part of this restaurant was the service, good understanding of the timings and not too intrusive and friendly with a really good attitude towards the customers.

Initially, I thought the service was a bit slow but then it was a busy Saturday night. The gyozas were extremely good and staved off some of my hanger. I got the seafood ramen... Unfortunately the noodles were very overcooked and soggy, however I'm still giving 5 stars because the staff got a fresh one out to me within 10 minutes and acknowledged the problem. The seafood was delicious and it was great to have a variety of vegetables in the dish. The waiter then even offered complimentary desserts which really changed the whole mood to a 5 star experience.

You don't go to Scotland and have Japanese food but I am so glad I did. Everything was cooked to perfection and the flavours were a delight. As a vegetarian I had so many options to choose from which was refreshingThe haggis balls were a unique item and super tasty.I know I will be returning to Koku Shi when I come back to Scotland again. 😊😋
