Perfect place to stop for lunch before visiting Loch Leven. Delicious food, amazing shop with plenty of local products and a delightful view of the Loch from the cafe' veranda.

We arrived here based on a recommendation, the road was astonishing. Upon arrival, we entered the amazing shop and couldn't help ourselves from buying a few things from the crazy variety the shop offers. Eventually, we entered the restaurant and a superbly nice waitress made sure we are comfortable and happy with our seats, in front of a window looking at Loch Leven. We got AMAZING vegetarian breakfasts, our sweet waiter was very thoughtful and made sure all allergies are treated. The food was FANTASTIC. I'm pretty sure weekends here are packed so make sure to make a reservation and don't miss out on this great gem.

Online menu was easy to view but we had to go in and order as it wasn't working to pay for some reason. Good quality, fresh, hot food and drinks. Shop has a large variety of items and local produce.

Nice place for a pit stop whilst doing the Loch Leven Heritage Trail. Very nice soup "lentil"

This was an excellent stopping point on a day of bad weather. Staff were friendly and helpful finding us a table for six in a busy period. The food choice was good although only cakes and such for dessert. The meals were timely to the table with choices of extras for children..The shop was typical for a 'garden centre' type venue. It was well stocked with fancy goods. Prices high end. Saved us by stocking leggings and socks for youngster. Will revisit on a good weather day and get to see the loch!!!

Very big centre with great products, although i felt the prices were rather on the high side compared to similar places i have been to but they do have a very big range of products and if you are looking for an unusual gift, there is something for everyone.Nice cafe with very tasty food.Plenty of free car parking. Its a nice place to stop for a coffee while hiking or driving around the loch.

Nice place and nice location but poor variety of cakes, etc. (There were quite a few listed on the chalk board but almost everything was gone by 3pm.) Scones okay but a bit biscuity and lack the "soda" taste of a good scone. The shop is very like these other "country" or "farm" shops. There's a nice selection of cheeses. I can't understand why so much produce wasn't local, e.g. the bread flour comes from Oxfordshire (branded Wessex).

The larder is such a great place to visit and the owners have added to the fantastic facilities year on year.It doesn’t matter if your just stopping for a cuppa, an ice cream, a 3 course meal or to look at all the goodies in store, there’s something for everyone! There’s a great park for the kids and this is currently being added to with the addition of a sensory garden and play features.Being located directly on the heritage trail it can easily be reached on foot or bike. If you’re driving there’s a huge car park. You can now rent bikes at the larder if you don’t have one. There’s now a heated, undercover outside space to be enjoyed even when the weather isn’t great. It has a stunning view of the Loch itself and you can easily spend hours there!

Great place to stopover for shopping and meals. The shop has a wide variety of products food, kitchen utensils, games, clothing, and much more. The restaurant and coffee shop look over the lock with plenty of seating inside and outside covered and open .There is ample free parking
