Good cakes and drinks but terrible service bordering on prejudicedI asked for a table for three but the old woman behind the counter immediately snapped at my wife to put her mask on. She obviously heard my English accent and proceeded to lecture us on how masks are still required in Scotland. Well my wife is Scottish and I have lived here for a decade, we know. The women then ranted about us in earshot of everyone to her pals making us very uncomfortable.

·

Upon arrival we were instructed to sanitise our hands then received a unfriendly almost hostile reception while being asked ‘do you have a mask?’ as I was not wearing a mask - this is due to a medical exemption., we felt most unwelcome and choose not to stay.

Busy tearoom with great atmosphere. Friendly ataff and amazing soup.

·

Lovely lunch and very friendly and efficient staff. Had the ploughman's lunch with gluten free oatcakes and my partner has the excellent Dunkeld salmon. Coffee and a pot of tea filled us up. Enjoyable, quaint tea room.

·

Lovely cafe, friendly staff. Covid precautions in place, track n trace, hand sanitiser, masks to be worn. Great coffee. My husband enjoyed a tray bake - rocky road

·

Great place for a hot bowl of soup on a winters day, plenty of home cooking, great service and a very warm welcome. Definately be back, and will be recommending to friends who visit the area.

·

Lovely little cafe on the main road. Welcoming and friendly staff. Coffe was good and the scone with jam was pretty big and tasty. I also ordered a slice of peanut butter cake. That was on another level. Soooo good!

·

Decent cafe for lunch, although it is a tad expensive for what is essentially sandwiches, soups and cake.I had a the ploughman’s lunch and a scone, both of which i enjoyed.Service was excellent.

·

Excellent service. Very clean. Felt safe with their constant cleaning, track and trace recording, mask wearing and obviously following covid guidelines Very nice soup and freshly baked scones. Deserve to do well. Top marks.

This is a great little spot for a meal. Had a sandwich. Very good. Just a few minutes off of the main road between Inverness and Edinburgh. Great jams for sale. Will go again when passing by.
