I was in last night, March 14th 2020, with family . The waiting staff were excellent and attentive . UNFORTUNATELY the main part of the tasting menu , which was a Duck dish was a disappointment for 2 out of the 4 diners at our table . On one dish there was a sizeable sticky bar-code label floating in the jus and in the small hotpot dish on the plate there was a bone of approximately 1 inch long in beside the meat which was very finely shredded , on which I almost chocked and it cut the roof of my mouth . The waiting staff were horrified that this had happened , HOWEVER, the manager on duty at the time , stated, " I am sure you can appreciate these things happen " . Actually myself and family who were dining DO NOT appreciate that these things can happen in a 2 rosette restaurant or anywhere else . No proper apology was received and the duty managers attitude was rather dismissive of our complaint . No reduction in the bill or offer of a complimentary coffee was made . Totally unprofessional standard . So due to this I would NOT recommend this restaurant or return .DeleteMove toForwardReplyMore

Lovely meal and best steak I've had in a long time. Staff great. My only thought is that the menu seemed a bit limited, still, everything they did do was delicious and there's a lot to be said for that.

Comfortable well appointed small hotel with good dining options. Food is high standard served by pleasant efficient staff.

I was lucky and visited on a warm sunny day I've had a beautiful afternoon here.

Enjoyed excellent lunch with great service and pleasant atmosphere.

Went for a family meal to Parklands on Sunday 17th March. We had the tasting menu which was fab. The steak was to die for. The attention to detail and attentiveness of the staff made our night. A huge thank you to both Jasmine and Callum. We will definitely be back. If you get the opportunity give this place a try you won't be disappointed.

Parklands never fails to please. On Christmas day the food was delicious, the staff pleasant and efficient as always. JF🍷
