I don't often post reviews but felt I should about this great little pub.Food was excellent, good portion size and reasonably priced.At the end of our meal we happened to mention where we were staying which was a 25min walk away. The weather was atrocious, very heavy rain. The staff member (landlady?) Gave us a genuine offer of a lift to our accommodation. What a lovely thing to do.

Called in for a quick drink checked out menu which looked very good Unfortunately we were put off buying anymore drinks as the lady behind the bar used the larger out of the slop tray to top up someone's pint they were buying

Excellent wee pub with great food. Reasonably priced as well compared with the other pubs in the area. San Miguel on tap an added bonus!

The fish pie was excellent, very flaky crust and savory filling. I had this down as the best pie of our weeklong vacation. The Scotch egg was also very good, especially with the black pudding in the crust. Nice selection of local beer.

Super food..Some of the freshest and greatest tasting food we had in Scotland. The Auld Smiddy Inn is surely a gem in the heart of what is an already outstanding country. The chef and staff should be super proud of the service, quality and originality of what is a fantastic menu and dining experience.Will highly recommend to any visitors of Pitlochry and surrounding areas. 👍🙂🏴❤

Food was delicious and fresh and the staff were all great. The only thing I didn't love was that the restaurant seemed to lack in atmosphere. The blacksmith themed interior needs more too it so it doesn't look half done and everything needs a lick of paint

We couldn't get an outdoor table without ordering food. I'm OK with that so we sat inside and had 2 beers. Nice place, old. Good beer. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices.

Lovely pub for a quick pint, the staff were frendly and welcoming. The dinner menu looked good, can't comment on quality as I was only having a drink. The restaurant area look lovely with a quiet relaxing atmosphere for a evening meal. All in all well worth a visit

Decent wee pub lunch. Open sandwiches are piled high. Good chips. Has a kids menu.
