The Bothy in Perth & Kinross

Lovely restaurant and decor. Compliant with Covid guidelines. Sufficient staffing but slow service and meals were not as warm as expected. Booked for 1pm and served meals at 2.10pm. No attendance for additional beverages during the meal or if the meal was satisfactory. Food was good quality and cooked well.

Had a great breakfast / early lunch here today after walking out of pizza express. Staff were excellent, very attentive and friendly. Food was delicious and so was my latte! We will be back next time we pass through Perth!

Good food, terrible service. After being seated, we were ignored for 30 minutes, when finally (after having to go to bar to get attention) we got someone to come over the drinks orders were then wrong. Saturday afternoon so not full. Food however was good, advice to management, waiters/waitresses should be trained to be more attentive.

The atmosphere was pleasant and the food was good. The service was pleasant but limited. Sitting is cosy. A perfect place for a drink. Beautiful private room on the lower level.

Most impressed. The food is lovely, the setting and service match and in my opinion offer good value. So good we visited twice and would return given half a chance.

Went for Christmas lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. The meal was fantastic and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Great environment, great food and excellent staff. Not the cheapest place in town, but worth the visit!

Very cosy and good food, service was a bit slow

Called ahead to say we'd be late and the restaurant was thankfully able to hold our table. On arrival we asked for a table away from the piano which the waitress was able to do. The service was at a reasonable pace and within 10 minutes we had our drinks. Only negative was the kitchen were unable to cook one member of our parties steak correctly, after two failed attempts it was good enough, however they graciously offered to not charge. Otherwise the food was superb. The toilets are a long walk away so perhaps take a drink for the way.
