Just drove into town after an 11 hour drive. Waited outside for 30 mins to place my order so I had read the menu several times so I could be sure of my order by the time I got to the window. I ordered 1 battered sausage and a haddock with medium chips. The woman stared at me like I was trying to order a curry at an ice cream parlour. She then said, you mean you want a sausage supper and a fish supper! She was pretty serious so I just agreed. Food was alright, nothing to write home about but filled us up.I was confused about the fact that they only sold haddock so I asked a guy outside if they get any cod. He replied with I don't know, its just fish 😂

Made to stand outside and wait till your number is called not what you expect in 2022 also the chips were reheated and were very hard I would not recommend the Comrie chip shop to anyone

Served in Styrofoam, so that's disappointing. No cod, only haddock, tasty but more batter than fish. Chips are mediocre but still good.

I don’t know if they had run out of fillets and so had sliced them in half to make them go further, or had taken delivery of the meanest fillets that week... but hands down worst fish supper I’ve had in 13 years of living in Scotland.Because the fillets were so thin, most of the fish (breadcrumbed) was tough as old boots, translucent and inedible. The edible part was at best 5mm thick! Had fish here last year and there were fine. It was really disappointing.Chips and tartar sauce were good though.

Amazing chippy, Best deep fried Mars bars without question, perfectly battered and tasty, decent portion of chips and the BRU to wash it all down. Perfect 10 out of 10

We kept passing and finding it closed even though opening hours said it should be open. Would be helpful if the correct winter opening hours could be posted in the window or online. Anyway, managed to get our meal tonight (Friday) around 6pm. Good portion size, a fish and a half, and good helping of chips. The batter was crispy around the edges but the 7minute drive home maybe had steam causing it to go a bit soggy. Chips were a bit overdone and not chunky enough lending it to a lot of little harder crunchy wedges/slivers. Overall not bad for occasional visit but wouldn’t be rushing back. Home made tartar sauce was a bit of a letdown with not much flavour or bite.

Been wanting to try here since I arrived. However only got chance to try today and was worth the wait. Absolutely delicious. I was staying at Lochearnhead so a bit of a drive but this is the nearest chippy.Everything cooked beautifully.Thank you everyone.

Sam's fave place for chips (fishcake supper) when we're visiting Comrie, and the 9" meat feast pizza was very nice too.
