Comfortable room with good facilities. Everything worked perfectly. Superb Scottish breakfast. Staff at reception could not be more helpful from the welcoming dram to the advice about local attractions. Special mention for Maddy and Frankie on reception, and for Clayton for his humour and wonderful knowledge of walks around the Pitlochry area. Definitely returning soon.

My sister's and myself have stayed at fisher's lots of times. We usually have the Xmas nights but it was cancelled due to covid. We went on the 5/march for the murder mystery it was a fantastic night. Definitely recommend.

There are two things to commend this hotel - the food and the location. Apart from that the room was substandard and the reception staff unwelcoming and unhelpful. We had to ask for everything that was included in our package ( i.e. the welcome dram, bottle of prosecco and afternoon tea) as no information was forthcoming from the reception team.Although there were many domestic staff to be seen, the standards of cleanliness were not particularly high across the hotel and the room we had been allocated needed major refurbishment. The bathroom was basic to say the least with broken and loose floor tiles and below average decor. One of the soap/ body wash dispensers had a strange white substance floating on the top so I didn't quite trust it for use. Some of the bedding had holes and the pillows were very poor quality but they were clean enough. The restaurant and bar staff were pleasant as you would expect. One strange thing was that we couldn't order a glass of fizz to pep up our afternoon tea as one of the bars was closed yet the staff who served us had come round from the one bar that was open - weird. On leaving, we weren't asked if we had enjoyed our stay or informed that there was nothing else to pay - again, we had to ask just to double check.Overall, we had expected a warm welcome and a good standard of accommodation but unfortunately, these were lacking.I don't think I'll be back to this hotel but will definitely return to Pitlochry as all of the other places we visited were great.

Lovely room, nice and clean with everything you need. At time of booking reception had taken my partners first name as surname so we had to wait ages to check in as we automatically gave surname, perhaps a language barrier, thankfully finally got resolved. We planned to eat in the adjoining pub and enjoy the entertainment at night bit unfortunately as soon as we walked through the door the smell from the toilets was awful. No way we would have eaten here let alone stayed for the evening,I just presume the other people already inside were immune to the smell so disgusting and off-putting! We went to hotel restaurant for dinner and was nice but disappointed in their £16 supplement for a steak, bit steep, never been charged anywhere near that for a steak, wouldn't hurry back.

Added steak and sauce at a cost of £16 and £3 extra to a already booked 3 course and the sauce was watery and tasteless, ruined my steak dinner. Our room was dusty and the floor boards where really noisy. I didn’t have a good nights sleep with the mattress and pillows being hard and uncomfortable.

Amazing hotel. Situated on the high street in beautiful Pitlochry with excellent, well appointed & large rooms with all mod cons required. Food is phenomenal with exceptional fresh local produce cooked to perfection with generous portions. The staff work extremely hard and are mannered, happy & knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble to any of them. Whether it be walking the stunning trails, hills & forests or exploring nearby towns, I personally feel you would be hard pressed to find anything better with such competitive prices. Having been lucky enough to have stayed at some amazing hotels, Fisher's Hotel is one place I really can't wait to return to. The only down side is the parking as the car park, albeit a reasonable size, is packed out but I found spaces on the road nearby. I can't thank all the amazing staff here enough for such a fantastic 2 days and will return again quickly to see more of the stunning area and hopefully take part in another murder mystery night as that was an amazing experience too. For me this hotel is a real gem in the gorgeous Scottish Highlands. Thank you.

Party of 6 ladies to celebrate 3 of the ladies birthdays. We had the most excellent experience - from the initial booking to check out. The reception staff couldn’t have been more helpful with my bags of balloons and party goods. Yes the hotel requires a bit of general maintenance but the rooms were spotless and spacious with comfy beds and good quality linen. The restaurant staff were friendly and very attentive and the food was delicious both dinner and breakfast. The hotel also supplied a birthday cake 🎂 which was scrumptious so thank you.Overall the atmosphere in the hotel was friendly and relaxing. The hotel is in a great position for a general wanderwith plenary of wee coffee and gift shops to view. Our party would definitely recommend this hotel and we will definitely re-visit - thank you to all the staff - who contributed to making our stay such a happy one - well done 👏🏻

Delicious food, the fillet steak was perfectly cooked to my request of rare. Bar staff friendly and very helpful. Lovely historical hotel. Only thing that let it down was the room. Very clean but bright lights from the corridor and from lights outside made it difficult to sleep.

3 star. Centrally located. Friendly staff.Breakfasts good. Cozy room ok for couple of nights. Tea & coffee with biscuits nice. Not many channels on the TV. Quite noisy. Thumping about above us and could hear conversations. We booked at the last minute so we only had limited choice of rooms. I think we got a good price. I think this hotel has big market in coach parties as there were groups, shall we say of certain age.The car park gets full quite early and there is no reservation system. We got in 2/3 of the days so no complaints. Overnight the public car park (6pm to 8am) is free.Overall we liked the Fishers Hotel and would stay again with no hesitation.
