The Maltings in Perth & Kinross

Had the chicken burger and it was amazing! Brownie sundae was average, brownie was too hard almost needed to eat it with a knife and fork. Staff were very nice and friendly but not attentive at times. Our waiter gave us dessert menus then just left us for 20mins while he cleared and cleaned 2 tables. He looked over at us but we couldn't get his attention to get served. I ended up walking to the bar to order desserts. A little annoying but I will be back to try again.

Visited it twice recently and its family friendly .Food excellent value especially the lunch time one .Staff first class and helpfulHence our return visitEven told us the chef was not happy with a item we ordered and would not use it .Can't say fairer than that .Cater too for todlers and have a large play area for older children

Really nice place. Nice staff. Took a while to come get the order. But food was only 5 mins after. The gammon was fantastic. Then they took ages to fetch the bill.

Staff and welcoming was great, however my starter came out 1 minute after I ordered which I appreciate the promptness but it couldn’t have been cooked that quick! Same with the main as soon as I was done with start main shoved in front of me seems all microwaved taste like it too. Wouldn’t come again! Want you in and out like a fast food restaurant.

Had a lovely lunch here today catching up with friends. Nice atmosphere with friendly staff and good food. I had Katsu chicken curry which was delicious. My friend choose from the gluten free menu which appeared to have a good choice and she also enjoyed her food. Slight issue with a gammon steak being a bit overcooked and therefore a bit dry which is the only reason I’m not giving 5 stars. Despite this we will definitely be returning .

Stopped off for a late lunch. I had seafood grill but the fish didn't taste very fresh. Hubby had ribeye steak which was okay. We have had good meals here before so hoping it was just a one off with the seafood grill.

Great spot just off A9 to stop for a good meal. Superb food and service. Extremely good value. Both had fish and chips. Husband opted for the extra large for £1 extra and could hardly finish it. Fish was fresh and batter was light an crispy. We are particular about F & C! This was excellent. Well done to chef and staff.

The pub was warm and welcoming as we entered, we were seated immediately and were offered drinks that came quickly. I had ordered the luxury macaroni cheese with bacon and I can say that it was amazing. The meal itself came very quickly and was done to a high standard, the prices are very reasonable for the quality service you receive.I would highly recommend this for a good pub lunch or a night-time meal.

Fab as always. Our server Marc was an absolute gent. Absolutely exceeded expectations in friendliness, efficiency, professionalism & product knowledge. Keep up the great work Marc, thank you for being super!To be fair all staff we spoke to or seen were spot on, rushed off their feet on a sunny Bank Holiday weekend but every single one of them were getting on with it, and with a smile on their face.New menu is brilliant, food came so quickly and was scorching hot, absolutely delicious! Nice, big portions so great value for money. The kids make your own pasta and wraps kept them entertained while we ate also.Complimentary balloons on table for my sister in laws birthday. Thanks again, such a lovely gesture.Highly recommend this place, can't wait to come back. Thank you!! X
