The Strathardle Innathardle Inn Restaurant in Perth & Kinross

We had a wonderful stay and our dog was welcomed by David and Paul. Breakfast was really good. The atmosphere was lovely and welcoming and we will certainly be back.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at Strathardle lodge and miss it already! Paul & David were amazing hosts, so helpful and kind. The breakfasts were delicious and it was great to spend relaxing time in the honesty bar and beautiful lounge.The Lodge is a real gem in a stunning location too with beautiful walks all around. We wish Paul & David all the best for the future. We shall most definitely return!

Spent a week in this fabulous lodge overlooking spectacular countryside. A family run business with fantastic friendly hosts where nothing is too much trouble for Paul and David who run the Lodge. My room was large and very comfortable and had its own tea and coffee making facilities. The Lodge serve a substantial breakfast to keep you going all morning. The lodge is in an excellent location to visit many attractions, fabulous walks and hikes and Glenshee Ski resort. And Lodge has a well stocked Honesty Bar which is a lot cheaper than pub prices and tea and coffee is complimentary all day. I will certainly be back as so much more to see and do.

The Lodge is perfectly positioned half way betwen Pitlochry and Glenshee ski slopes and is surrounded by fabulous countryside. This makes the Lodge ideal for those wanting to make full use of what nature can provide.The Lodge also offers cake courses which have the most fabulous tutor in Paul, who is the cake artist and who is renouned all over the world for his designs. Paul has also made cakes for Her Majesty, Th Queen as well as making us a stunning cake for my husbands Birthday, during our stay.We actually spoke to a lady who was on a cake course, who looked very happy and said she was enjoying the course. I also saw the cakes she had made and the flowers and they looked stunning.The Lodge itself is going through transition, with David and Paul being the new owners. Their vision for the Lodge will take wehat is currently gorgeous and inviting, to being absolutely perfect and beyond anyones expections of a Guest House.Currently the Lodge offers very spacious and comfortable rooms. The rooms are clean and very inviting. We stayed in room 4, which looked across the river. Even though there is a road going passed the Lodge it is not a noisey road at all. There is ample parking on site, which is fantastic.The Lodge is dog and child friendly and also offers an honesty bar and lounge area. Both have open fires and are cosy and inviting.The decor is being updated but this does not take away from how beautiful the hosts have already been able to make the Lodge look, which is very tasteful, without taking away from its historical surroundings.For our stay, the communication between ourselves and David was faultless. David was able to arrange a special Birthday Surprise for my Husbands Birthday ( see cake photo) and also was able to arrange a hearty meal for us to enjoy, at the Lodge.The Breakfast fits everyones requirements and Beryl, is the main Breakfast provider is pleasant and polite and the breakfast itself is of good quality, hearty and well worth trying.Overall our stay was fabulous, relaxing, fun. With the hosts David and Paul being very welcoming and just two fantastic guys, who own and run a unique establishment. We will certainly be returning and look forward to see how this beautiful Guest House and Cake School evolves and blossoms.

The Host is amazing!We was in a family trip and we have the room 9.Breakfast was unbelievable tasty and large portion.They have an honest bar so is a great idea that you can grab a snack or a drink at any time . Rooms are big, beds are warm and cozy.What can I say definitely we'll be back.Thank you again for your amazing service.

Thank you Paul and David for making our trip so incredibly special for all our family. We felt right at home and welcome instantly. Your breakfast each morning was impeccable and the rooms and beds are very comfortable and clean. We loved the honesty bar, very well stocked and good value for money. I would recommend everyone to stay at the Strathardle lodge and I can’t wait to visit again one day! Definitely worth the 400mile trip and well worth every penny.Also we can’t believe you’ve only had the lodge for 2 weeks, you have certainly fallen into the right line of business. Absolute natural guest house owners.

Wasn't too impressed unfortunately. Lack of atmosphere when we walked in, but the waitress was friendly despite her having to constantly tell people that they'd run out of things. I ordered the beer battered halloumi and chips and my wife went for the fish and chips. Halloumi was really nice and crispy and went well with the chilli jam. Fish was so-so my wife said. The chips though, we're really strange. Most were great, but some of them were really dry and kind of crumbled when I put my fork in. Same for my wife, which was really disappointing for both of us. Also the selection of drinks was quite disappointing. Sorry guys, we really wanted to like this place, but it just didn't quite cut it.

We stopped here for a meal after a long walk, we had the game burger & Highland burger, both excellent, washed down with a lovely cold pint. We will be back. Thanks

Friendly, cosy, excellent food, chips 10/10. Curtains in room were too short so up at 4am as a result. Amazing 9oace though, beautiful view and village.
