The Tavern in Perth & Kinross

Sadly our visit on 12th Feb was not the best. Told had approx an hour wait for food which we said was fine n ordered drinks meantime only to be told by another server that kitchen was closed when asked for menus . Told her that were told would be a delay n happy to wait for her to say we'll needed to check stock. While waiting with our drinks she then seated x3 sets of others at tables and gave them menus n food before she eventually gave us our menus. Felt her customer service was well below par and not only for us . However the food was delicious but sadly won't be back.

Ended up for lunch here unexpectedly. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Small portions we're available at excellent value. Gluten Free options for one of our party we're maybe minimal (could have had a burger:with GF bun) but chose the chilli and rice which was very tasty. Sweets were bit basic....maybe need some work. Overall I'd recommend it for a cosy afternoon with a nice meal, bottle of wine and a good blether with good friends 😊

Been here for lunch a couple of times. They have a lunch menu with half portions which is good value and just enough if you don't want a big lunch. The usual pub lunch menu with plenty choice is available too. Staff are lovely, great service & good food. Recommend a visit 😊

Spent almost £50 on food and a couple of drinks while holiday to then have to come home and spend an hour on the loo. It tasted nice but did not agree with either of us at all and ruined the evening.

Amazing food great service and very reasonably priced. Been twice now and will definitely be there again soon.

Staff were lovely and accommodating as we had our pram with us. Food was good but maybe just a little over priced.I had the broccoli and Stilton soup which was lacking in flavour somewhat, but the Mushroom crostini was lovely, the mushrooms were done well and the sauce was delicious.My partner had the wild boar and chorizo burger, which again was nice but not overly flavoursome.Overall, nice place, good staff, food/prices need a little work in my opinion.

Great warm welcoming pub with superb food and weekend live music. Jen and her staff are terrific and will give you wonderful dining experience.

Great for lunch, have visited a few times now and the food is always great. Recommend the fish and chips, and the onion rings!Covid precautions are also good, staff wear masks and tables are wiped down regularly. There is a sign in sheet too.

My aunt loved the half portions of steak pie as a full portion would have been too much. I had a lovely half portion of macaroni cheese. Meals came with chips and salad, vegetables with the steak pie. Desert was yummy 🎂🍦🍰. Excellentvalue for money.
