"The Taybank has long been known for its great music and fantastic setting on the banks of the River Tay in one of Scotland's most beautiful villages. Come and spend an afternoon or evening with a local ale or a Scottish gin in our riverside beer garden."

Couldn’t rate this place more highly, just the loveliest stay! Check-in and out times are super generous (2pm and 12pm respectively), service is excellent - everyone is so friendly without being over bearing, food was delicious and very reasonably priced (the langoustines in particular) and the hotel itself has so many amazing little spaces for a different times of the day whether that be a pub lunch, an intimate dinner, a beer by the water, etc. We’ll definitely be back!

Pretty exceptional food well served at this traditional pub. It's dog friendly. We had the Sunday roast, the meat was beautiful, pink with lovely root veg and excellent roast potatoes.Served on lovely plates with excellent cutlery. Overall service was superb. I'm very pleasantly surprised, I was expecting pub-grub. I'll certainly be back.

We had a couple of drinks in this usually good pub. I paid for our first round which I thought was a bit expensive, even for Dunkeld. Second round purchase by husband who questioned prices. Seems a pint of Black Isle stout was £7 and medium wine £5. There was no price list behind bar regarding price of stout. When queried prices said they didn't have too display prices it was owners choice. Thought it was a legal requirement. !! We have been visiting Dunkeld for many years and can't help but feel some establishments are ripping off their visitors and tourists. We usually stay at Dunkeld House and are used to their prices etc. We moved on to the Perth Arms Hotel in the Square where we had a superb meal(we had intended to eat in the Taybank but thought we would need an overdraft to eat there). Had a few drinks in the Perth Arms Hotel who had normal prices. Its such a shame that this overpricing is becoming the normal in certain establishments in Dunkeld, maybe some people should remember without tourists, visitors to the town it would be a very different and quiet town. Very Dissappointed in Taybank this year, we also drank outside in their summer set up and we were extremely ill after 2 fizzy pints of Guinness??. Well done to the Perth Arms Hotel for a lovely welcome, food and drink

Food was excellent. Genuine quality local produce, probably some of the best I've ever had - presented with care and cooked perfectly.Ribeye steak was prepared medium rare, the way the chef recommended. Seasoned properly and just melted in my mouth.Staff were professional, friendly and helpful.Very much recommended.

We had some lunch in here. The place itself was very well done out and obviously is a music venue. The food was good but small portions and big prices. I ordered soup with crusty bread. They sent me the wrong soup in the first instance. Waited ages for the correct soup and only got one small pieced of bread.
