Had really nice service and support from the staff here. Food was lovely too. Every intention of coming back.

Tried to stop here for lunch today on our drive home but it was closed although opening times in the window for a Sunday state they open from 12. Was disappointing as the reviews sounded very good. Sorry to hear your closed because of covid. Will definitely stop next time we are in the area.

We were a large party dining out. Staff were excellent as waste food. Highly recommend

Superb venue! Was driving south and wanted somewhere out of the city locations. This hit the spot superbly.Super friendly staff, excellent menu and huge portions! The Sunday roast three courses for £16.95 is a great deal. The starters were huge and the main course tasty well cooked and again a good portion size. We were too full for desert!We will definitely use this as a stopping point when visiting family up North.

Excellent place, great atmosphere, attentive staff, super food would highly recommend to anyone. (couldn't finish main course doggy bag offered and gratefully received by very excited Spaniel). Looking forward to going back.

Delicious meal this evening at the Village Inn, excellent food, large portions, good variety of menu choices. Great service in a relaxed and homely atmosphere. Well worth a visit, best to book.

Can't say enough nice things about this place, first found it through a friend who gave us a voucher for Christmas, eventually managed to find the time to go for a meal and we were more than impressed, decided to book a table for 10 and had a family get together with a meal, everything from start to finish was absolutely fantastic and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend this well run establishment to everyone..

Found this lovely place by chance. Travelling from Keith to Dumfries on holiday and this was roughly halfway for a lunch.Very friendly welcome on arrival, although it was very busy the hosts made sure we would get a table... We're so glad they did, the food was delicious, huge steak pie with chunky chips and veg, the wife had a burger with chips and said that was delicious too. Great value for money and would definitely recommend 👌

Stopped in yesterday, great place, polite and helpful staff. The food was superb, portions were huge, steak pie was one of the best I've ever had, lots of steak and gravy and was delicious. Wife had a small plate fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding and custard (big portion also) definitely be back. Thanks
