Tormaukin Inn in Perth & Kinross

Called in here with my elderly parents one Sunday afternoon for lunch, as I was aware the premises had been shut for a while, but were now open for business.Staff were friendly and welcoming, whilst the restaurant itself was bright and airy. We all had the Sunday roast followed by the sticky toffee pudding and it was all served quickly and tasted delicious.I was a little concerned that after being closed for a while, they wouldn't be fully up and running, but my concerns were unfounded.After lunch, there's a little bridge about a 100 yards along the road, where you can cross to the other side of the river and walk off your lunch.Lovely staff, excellent meal and beautiful location, what more do you want.

Friendly staff but food wasn’t all that hot. I had a roast beef dinner, the roast beef was cold with almost warm gravy on top. Sorry but we have seen a change from when we used to go previously.

Lovely family run hotel with friendly staff, great food and very nice hotel rooms which all were furnished differently. Lots of lovely finishing touches and dogs are also welcome, which is great. Had a great October deal this weekend with dinner bed and breakfast and the food was top notch! The menu had a special twist and the cheese soufflé and profiteroles were amazing. Great choice for breakfast as well. We used to come to this hotel regularly many years ago, and haven't been there for a while now, so this was a lovely surprise to see the hotel back up and running again to its' former glory. We will definitely be back again and thanks for a lovely stay.

5 of us had an evening meal here tonight ...food was excellent and staff warm and friendly. We will definitely be back again.

Fantastic service so welcoming. Stayed in their newly done up room the maukin room which was beautiful! They have the best cheese scones with sausage for starter, food is excellent! Lovely place to stay definitely will be back!! 😆

What a brilliant place. A warm welcome and a truly excellent menu with twists on favourites. I especially enjoyed the game pate on a Belgian waffle! Dog friendly and laid back with good service. Cannot fault this great pub.

Had a great time. Staff were polite and friendly and looked after our every need. The food was amazing. Great chef/s. Just need more potato scones. Lol x

We stopped in for a meal. It was the best food and ale we have had since we’ve been in Scotland. We can’t recommend it highly enough. The service was very good the food was amazing. Which is very high praise coming from a picky eater who my husband hates taking to restaurants because I complain if it’s not right. Not a single complaint could I find about all of our meal. I would highly recommend a visit

Stopped by for lunch - excellent menu at a reasonable price. Sunday roast was fantastic and baked Camembert starter was lovely. Great beer selection too and excellent service. Will be back soon!
